I LOVE Aurora's dress (make it pink, no, make it blue!) and the Moana float is incredible in person!

David and Fresh Baked has become the face of Disneyland for me. Love going to the park with FB. Always respectful and fun. Just the way I love to do Disneyland. This was awesome!
What a great parade! I loved the lighting affects on the Frozen float. The dancing was awesome. Aurora's dress is so cute, how it changes colors. I love that they included Sword and the Stone. I wish the wolf was on the float haha. Great great time. I hope I can go this year to see it.
My family and I love this parade. We were able to see the first show yesterday near Small World. It's definitely the best parade that we've had at Disneyland in our opinion. We saw it once before the pandemic and would watch youtube videos of it every day at the beginning of the lockdown. We're so glad it's back, the energy in the crowd and with the performers/cast members was great.
I desperately want paint the night back , it was truly a magical moment for us , we were leaving the park heard the music and just by chance caught it when my son was 2 1/2 he's 9 now.

JUST LIKE the Pasadena Rose Parade we used to sleep out on the sidewalk and it was always worth it. Sometimes we even went the night before and helped with putting the flowers on the floats. It’s got that same feeling I totally agree.!!! 6:22

Magic happen is back! Can’t believe it’s back! So crazy to see it back because it was there the first time in March 2020 before the shutdown of Disneyland. So happy to see the performers again. I bet it was a core memory! So happy for you 😍🏰❤️✨

I was getting super emotional watching this parade, it’s the first time I’ve seen it, thank you for sharing! The dancers were AMAZING! I usually don’t notice the dancers as much but they just made each segment pop and the costumes were amazing and all the flags? So good. It’s so good. I was boppin along cause it was just so catchy and upbeat! Love it.

you *MIGHT NOT* have heard this (unless you saw it in the OC Register) but *OVER* 50% of the cast in it *THIS* year were in it in 2020 (i'm *GUESSING* when it was decided to bring it back, they must've inutially called all the 2020 cast members first.)
I loved the area you shot the parade in David…it was backlit like a movie set…and different from any other vlogger… so yay for originality! Seriously, the sun made it look truly magical. I’m glad you sat there to film it.

"3rd Days a Charm" Finally! Thanks for the great coverage. There are things that I really love about this parade, and then there are things I don't like at all. Not really the forum for explanations, but I will note that all the happy faces along the parade route make it a success for the guests and resort alike. It's been far too long without a "real" parade. Side note-this parade at night far outshines a daylight viewing. Too bad it can't be exclusively shown after dark.

I love this! Thank you for sharing. I hope I can see this parade in person, it looks amazing. It seems like the perfect Disney nostalgia mixed with some more modern characters and song. The music is so good and not an annoying parade song that gets stuck in your head. Ahhhh all the feels. I love it!
Great footage of Magic Happens, David! 👍🏻 I swear the parade is growing on me. You touched on something about Disney being hip and the tone of the soundtrack having this hip vibe. At first, I didn’t like it (well I haven’t gotten a chance to see it in person only video) and preferred the classic Disney vibe. But I like how they blended it all together and they include nods of former parades/fireworks shows (I can hear the “remember the magic” theme in there along with “Wishes”). It’s so cool! The floats look spectacular! I also loved the commentary you and Liz provided. It felt like I was watching the Macy’s thanksgiving parade. Also btw, it’s so great to see Liz seeing this parade with you! Loved her hatbox ghost sweatshirt! I can’t wait to see this parade in person! Thank you so much, David (and Liz, too!) What’s up David and Liz and Liz again your beautiful smile made my day now I was wondering about the dining package I’ve been hearing about for Magic Happens I was wondering if you could talk about it is it worth it and what you get for the price which I heard was $45 a person thanks now the parade I that was the best parade Disneyland has it reminded me of the Rose 🌹 Parade which I’ve seen several times in person and the the cast members performing went beyond the call of duty but I will say the music makes that parade because the music really lifted my spirit and I could see the music moved you guys too so lets hope Disneyland has more parades in the future like Magic Happens so thanks a lot David and Liz for sharing such a magnificent parade now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you David and Liz and I’ll see you on the next Fresh Baked adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
Back in 2020 when this parade first came out, my family and I watched it countless times. I noticed in the new runs of it however, I have yet to see Tiana's float! I wonder if it was completely removed or if there's issues with the actors or float preventing it from coming out? It was a really pretty addition!
The music and dancing reminds me of the descendants movies. I love the Descendants movies. I’m so excited to see it in person in a month. Hope to also have that cherry churro. Yummo. Thanks for the Magic Fresh Baked🎉

I saw him in New Orleans Square in October (I was there for my birthday which is right around,maybe the day after, his birthday, I discovered) and I got all excited and SCREAMED Fresh Baked. I went back and apologized for yelling so loud, because I was right behind him and I made him jump. He couldn't have been nicer.
Tiana's float wasn't rotating in the flowers surrounding Tiana and Naveen in the float. It worked for a few minutes then froze during the rest of Cast Members previews. I wonder how long it will take for the rotation hydraulics to be repaired before it returns to the parade.
Omg...I'm literally sitting in my living room at my desk watching this, with my headphones on (so my family thinks I've lost my ever loving mind) clapping, shouting "OMG it's some of the same exact dancers!! OMG!! Oh I'm so happy!" then I start crying and clapping and saying "omg" every time I see the same dancers that were in the ONE video that I played over and over and over during the pandemic of Magic Happens because it made me feel hopeful and took me to a much happier place...and I kept thinking this will come back when Disneyland opens again this will be back and I cannot wait to see all these faces....faces of dancers that feel like I know them because I've watched this parade on TH-cam a gazillion times trying to have hope and stay positive. For me it's the dancers/characters and the music that make this parade...the parade sets aren't even what is magical...it's them. Castmembers. Always! But, no Tiana float??? We are finally going back for our first time since 2019 in June and I'M SO FLIPPIN HAPPY THAT MAGIC HAPPENS IS BACK!!! I think this is my all time favorite parade because of how important it was in keeping my spirits up during a very dark time for me, for all of us. It will forever hold a deep special place in my heart and I haven't even seen it in person yet. The music just....hearing it is like seeing an old friend...feels so so so so good!! 🥲 I can't wait!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
I am so with you I had tue same reaction. I’ve memorized the words from watching it and I said as soon as it comes back we’re booking and we will be back out west april 14 for a week bought our magic happens dining package too
I loved Soundsational so can't help but get a little bummed how much he nitpicked it. XD That said, new parade does look great. I'm hoping it'll be around when next I'm able to make a Disney trip.
Definitely makes a difference where you sit and catch the music loop. I like the main theme song so I prefer the areas where that plays longer than the Moana frozen etc loop that come in and out.
So that’s the parade huh? The way some in the park’s community have been pining for this to come back I was expecting it to be more elaborate. It certainly wasn’t bad. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are pretty much my favorite Disney characters so that float was nice (they need their own ride!) But I’m sorry I just love the Electrical Parade way way way way more. I’m a night person through and through so I’ll always take something with lights. The night version of Magic Happens was definitely better especially the Coco float and the Frozen float. And your footage was great! But that’s definitely not a parade I’d waste an hour saving a spot to see. Especially on a one day ticket.
The Tiana Float the rotating hydraulic for the flowers around her and Naveen were broken. It worked at cast members previews for a few minutes then froze for the rest of the parades. Then then float didn't even show for public viewing of Magic Happens. But great video of the parade during opening day!
Well it’s nice that Disney finally got a Parade done right … not since MSEP in my view! It is especially lovely at night of course! Love the Moana vibe! Now if they would add a couple more Floats and fill in the gaps . Not sure how the 3 Fairy Godmothers can not get dizzy twirling around the whole time whilst moving forward! 😵💫
I love this parade, but I noticed that the Tiana and Naveen float is missing. I wonder why it's not there. Hopefully, it's a problem that can be fixed so they can come back.

Oh I'm so happy!" then I start crying and clapping and saying "omg" every time I see the same dancers that were in the ONE video that I played over and over and over during the pandemic of Magic Happens because it made me feel hopeful and took me to a much happier place...and I kept thinking this will come back when Disneyland opens again this will be back and I cannot wait to see all these faces....faces of dancers that feel like I know them because I've watched this parade on TH-cam a gazillion times trying to have hope and stay positive. For me it's the dancers/characters and the music that make this parade...the parade sets aren't even what is magical...it's them. Castmembers. Always! But, no Tiana float??? We are finally going back for our first time since 2019 in June and I'M SO FLIPPIN HAPPY THAT MAGIC HAPPENS IS BACK!!! I think this is my all time favorite parade because of how important it was in keeping my spirits up during a very dark time for me, for all of us. It will forever hold a deep special place in my heart and I haven't even seen it in person yet. The music just....hearing it is like seeing an old friend...feels so so so so good!! 🥲 I can't wait!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
I am so with you I had tue same reaction. I’ve memorized the words from watching it and I said as soon as it comes back we’re booking and we will be back out west april 14 for a week bought our magic happens dining package too

That said, new parade does look great. I'm hoping it'll be around when next I'm able to make a Disney trip.
Definitely makes a difference where you sit and catch the music loop. I like the main theme song so I prefer the areas where that plays longer than the Moana frozen etc loop that come in and out.
So that’s the parade huh? The way some in the park’s community have been pining for this to come back I was expecting it to be more elaborate. It certainly wasn’t bad. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are pretty much my favorite Disney characters so that float was nice (they need their own ride!)
But I’m sorry I just love the Electrical Parade way way way way more. I’m a night person through and through so I’ll always take something with lights. The night version of Magic Happens was definitely better especially the Coco float and the Frozen float. And your footage was great! But that’s definitely not a parade I’d waste an hour saving a spot to see. Especially on a one day ticket.

I noticed both times you guys saw, Tiana and Naveen's float were missing. Hope that it returns soon!
The Tiana Float the rotating hydraulic for the flowers around her and Naveen were broken. It worked at cast members previews for a few minutes then froze for the rest of the parades. Then then float didn't even show for public viewing of Magic Happens. But great video of the parade during opening day!

Well it’s nice that Disney finally got a Parade done right … not since MSEP in my view! It is especially lovely at night of course! Love the Moana vibe! Now if they would add a couple more Floats and fill in the gaps . Not sure how the 3 Fairy Godmothers can not get dizzy twirling around the whole time whilst moving forward! 😵💫
I'm I blind but, I didn't see The Maui Float? Is it there at Disneyland?
