Nice, I'm buying broken ps4, repair them and selling them for profit. I started last year, love it, I never repaired small electronic devices but I'm learning
Blud forgot to include the cost of the game cartridge reader. According to Ifixit, this would be around 55 USD, So if he was to buy the part, he would be 30usd in the red.
You make a really fair point. If I needed to purchase a brand new reader I would certainly be in the red. I was lucky enough to have some spare parts on the side lines from previous lots/projects purchased from eBay. Hence why I didn't need to pay for a reader. However, I recognize that most people don't have just tons of spare parts laying around. Going forwards with the flipping for profit series I I try and include costs of almost everything that I needed to do the repair (minus tools + labor) to give a more accurate view of what goes into the repair. I think I did a much better job in the last episode I released on Friday of articulating the costs/fees/taxes/shipping to the viewer. I have a video in the works right now of where to source parts and how to amass surplus parts in order to do flips if this is something you are interested in pursing because 55 Dollars sounds really steep for a card reader, and even though I really like iFixit's quality which is top notch from my experience, the prices kill any sort of profit you want to make on a flip. I have a few places and ideas regarding where to source parts that could be helpful. I appreciate the critique!
The next episode is now live! It was a long one in the making, but I'm hopping to have a more consistent upload schedule with the flipping series going forwards
Yeah for certain sometimes I get unlucky when it comes to payouts. There have been times where I could put in 3 hours of work, something unexpected happens, and I'm out -$200. But also a few weeks ago I was able to put in 30 minutes of work and was able to to profit over $100 on an iPhone 11. As I am spending more time in the flipping space, I'm getting better when it comes to gauging if I should take a deal or not, generally if I am not able to make a minimum of $30-40 I'm not going to take the deal. I try to capture the highs and lows with the series to hopeful give you guys a more accurate picture when it comes to flipping electronics.
So glad I found this channel. This looks like a fun hustle!
I have really enjoyed the flipping for a profit series and I find it so rewarding taking a broken electronic and restoring it. Glad to have you along!

How do you check what’s wrong
Where did you buy your replacement parts?
Im looking forward to the next episode
Very informative video. By the way, you are able to use Audacity's sound profile to get rid of the background noise.
Did you include the price of the replacement piece? Cuz you didn’t show it in the video
You look like you know your game!! Wish you good fortune!!
Thank you for the well wishes!
