Finished Tiny Walk in The Woods! I put the entire illustration in 1 video, so you can see it from beginning to end! My goodness is it small! I hope you enjoy it😊
Oh my god! I recently got gifted a zigzag book (quite popular here in Australia) and decided to turn it into a story! This illustration is amazing :)! And indeed, I have size 00 WNC brush and plenty of pencils, lol! 😆
Loved seeing the video and your art. Also glad that your zig zag book laid flat. I had two that didn't. One was the same kind as yours; the other was from a different manufacturer.
On the Hanemule brand, I had to physically remove the cover and then retype. It's a bit cockeyed but it will lay flat. The other, ends up with uneven sides when I force it flat.
Ooh now I understand, how frustrating! Did you end up painting anything in it or were you too annoyed? (I probably would be😅). I just bought another one from Hahnemuhle, but it’s still in plastic. I’ll have a look tomorrow to see if it’s as good as this one, I hope so!
@@StudioEstherillustration I pant one little page at a time. I keep it with some a plain air camera bag that I have an Art Toolkit palette and water brushes in.
I actually loved it! Worked really well with the watercolor and pencils! But I didn’t do it all in one go, somehow this took longer than my bigger illustrations😅 How about you?:)
I’m glad you liked it and completely agree that you can get lost in the details with this tiny sketchbook! I enjoyed it too and used watercolour, I feel like I should have also tried pencils too, but didn’t think of that one 🤔

Thank you! I did have to clamp it down to paint, but maybe I’m misunderstanding? :)
