Aba city is becoming one of the best cities to live in Recently, it is safe, clean and lively. There are no longer touts hanging around. Investments in aba are experiencing growth, traders and businessmen and women are also experiencing growth as well, And it is high time we all bring back our investments to Aba, Abia state and grow our own beloved fatherland. I promise you guys with what I am seeing going on in aba currently, it will top most cities in Nigeria. The governor's main objective is to make Aba a good and safe land for investors, So guys what are you waiting for.? Bring those investments back Home!

Honestly this is why I’m so pissed off with Nigerian leaders of today, they’re so useless and wicked. God bless Sam Mbakwe, best leader south East ever produced. I don’t know why open gutter became order of the day even keke napep, electric poles everywhere. What kind of a useless country nigeria is, everything always jaga jaga. Nigerian problem ain’t just about the government, citizens too are very useless and why I’m saying this is look at buses in Owerri and Nigerian cities, look how ugly, dirty and in bad condition they all look. Now go to South Africa and see their buses the one they call taxi and see how clean they look. Everything naija is just jaga jaga and even private properties all look so bad, lack maintenance and yet people keep blaming government for not having maintenance culture. I can say that Nigerians as a whole don’t have it as a culture n that need to change. Mbakwe tried with city planning and many more good things he did

Aba is potentially the next Dubai but the problem is lack of coordination. The governor is too far away in Umuahia and Aba City itself constitutes of about five different local government areas. I believe Abia State should be restructured in such a way that the Capital City Umuahia will have a State Capital Development Authority while Aba will have an Aba City Development Authority both headed by a position like Mayors which will be higher in status than local government chairmen but reporting directly to the governor.
If Aba can have a Mayor like this coordinating an Aba City Development plan, Aba will be like Dubai in the next ten years or less.

@ You’re absolutely right. Nigeria is led by corrupt, inept, incompetent and clueless men and women who place the safety and financial security of themselves and immediate families above that of their country. I could have been the Dubai of Africa but for these thugs. Take a look at Abuja that they say is a brand new capital, there’s no water, no electricity, the roads are not paved, no traffic lights, the few structures that they call hospitals are just a joke. Take a trip to little countries like Qatar, Taiwan, even South Africa that you Nigerians helped to liberate from apartheid, you will be shocked at the level of infrastructural and human developments while the so called giant of Africa is a clown’s township! I so wish that Biafra’s dream of a separate nation could materialise! Even though we are thousands of miles away, our hearts bleed for the many failures of Africa caused by its clowns!
