I love how Shahar refers to his character of Simon as "I." It's like he has become that character. That character and role has become part of him to a point that he doesn't really even differentiate! I love that Shahar and Noah are both so thoughtful in their responses. It's almost as if they really have become these people and have taken the responsibility of answering as if they really were. They take these interviews seriously. I think that's part of the reason Shahar has not been in as many. He wants to do it right. I'm so glad these guys are cast for these parts and that Shahar is back and can play his part. We could never have another Simon!
I enjoyed Noah-Shahar acting interactions in Season 4. Noah's grief portrayal was impactful. And Shahar's portrayal of new expectations and responsibilities was well done. Keep up the great work, fellas. Be safe and contented.
Thank you Fr Timothy for this interview. 2 of my favourite characters in The Chosen. We should all of us show Gratitude to God and everyone around us ever day.
Shahar and Noah are such emotionally intelligent men! I see myself in Peter and Andrew's triumphs and tragedies! Both actors portray their characters as three dementional people! Very impressive to see!
Love the start of season 4 saw it yesterday can’t wait for the next chapter this was very intense, hopefully season 5 doesn’t take so long to get here as season 4 took longer than the first 3 seasons, praying for Israel to find peace soon 🙏🏼 no good comes from wars 😢
Love the interview, Father. Pray Jesus that they remain faithful disciples n help us all followers to be joyful, creative n genuinely loving. "KEEP YOUR EYES ON ME " Blessing and prayers from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤❤❤
6:26 I am realizing recently that I am a lot like Simon Peter, I have mean to people and placed a target of hate or dislike towards them even though it’s not about them and it’s not their fault, it’s really about me 😢😅. And now I see why people see me a certain way, but they don’t get, because my explanations seem selfish😢.
It’s also possible that he (and Dallas) want us to know that he hasn’t vanished into thin air; rather, he was called to serve in the Israeli Army, and now he is back for Season 4.
I really really want to know more about Shahar Issac's personal life as a Jew, living in Israel and being an IDF soldier. As a new Christian, I battle with my anger with the Jews of today who deny Christ. Yet, here is a Jew...playing Peter. The effect of this cannot be lost upon Shahar personally. Another disconnect that I have is how people who claim to follow Chris will perpetuate war and killing of any kind. Like what is happening in Gaza. How to Christians wholeheartedly support Israel based on the teaching of Jesus. I see how it is politically expedient, but how do they reconcile? I do pray for the conversion of Jews, for all.
I hope your journey as a new Christian will be fruitful in time. We might feel disheartened by world events and people, but I encourage you to keep your focus on Christ. Pray that He can change hearts in His time.
Your interview allowed us to see the real Noah and Shahar , beautiful young men !

Is it just me or is Shahar really making up for not doing many interviews for previous seasons?
Yes I think he is too!
It’s also possible that he (and Dallas) want us to know that he hasn’t vanished into thin air; rather, he was called to serve in the Israeli Army, and now he is back for Season 4.
