    I have goosebumps thinking about how cool it would be to be in the water with such a huge majestic animal that is older than me by over 300 years!

    • @thetechnobasefan1161
      @thetechnobasefan1161 10 ปีที่แล้ว +74

      300 ? The life expectancy of a humpback whale is about 40 years.
      Whale sharks (which are no whales of course) can reach a maximum lifespan of 100 years; blue whales 90 years, tops.

    • @pooizle63
      @pooizle63 10 ปีที่แล้ว +35

      friend of mine was the diver who free'd the whale from a fishing net in san francisco said it was the most humbling and amazing experience looking into an eye the size of a basketball

    • @Aethuviel
      @Aethuviel 10 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      And bowhead whales can reach 200 - but no whale gets older than that.

    • @kearress7350
      @kearress7350 9 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      pooizle63 That whale was a humpback whale. Their eyes are as big as a grapefruit. There is no animal on this earth with eyes the size of a basketball. In fact, the Giant Squid has the largest eyes in the world, measuring 11 inches..

    • @pooizle63
      @pooizle63 9 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      thanks for the biology lesson lol but Kearress I just looked up the diameter of a basketball its 9.55 inches so going off what you just said there's a minimum of one animal with bigger eyes....

      Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the one you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. - Unknown
      When we die it doesn't matter if we sailed around the world or watched TV all our lives. It doesn't matter to anybody. It only matters within our own solitude what we are doing at this moment, this present moment is the only reality we experience. The past is gone and become fiction and the future never arrives. It is only the continuous now that we experience and only the now that is real. So if you want to make a change, it must be now. - Tenzin Thinley

    Most people watching this probably think the GoPro video is great, the Whales,Music and the Girls amazing, but that is all.... the real jewels are in the words which Alan Watts speaks. And they are not just words, they come from a deeper place, a timeless Wisdom that nudges people to wake up to themselves.
    It's great to hear on a video such as this :-)

      They swim gorgeously but some fussy ones behaving as if the complex movement should widely be heard because their pressure is far too harsh otherwise they're gonna kill themselves by the deep water pressure lol! I'm sure the three girls are professionals who are trained well for equalising and holding breath etc. Dont even try or risk if you're not like these girls, it needs time and experiences

      Thats what i been trying to tell people man ..money enslave us

    • @CheesePierogi
      @CheesePierogi 8 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Enslave us it does. Its a tool of control. Back in the 50's and 60's productivity was increasing at such a rate that we were wondering what we were going to do with all our time. We were expecting that just one member of a household working less than 10 hours a week could sustain a family comfortably. But nope, that's not allowed. People would think too much. Question too much. So inflation was used to keep us in line and for us to remain good little slaves.

      Bullshit. Money is neutral eople are just to stupid to understand that. Sure its not a good System but it will not change over nigh or in the next few years so what is the beast ? Free yourself. make your own business a normal or online business be your own boss make enough money and life the way life is supposed to be lived

    • @Ignasv8
      @Ignasv8 8 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Money does not corrupt by itself. Not having values and a clear idea of what you want to do arguably does more harm. Without money, how would you get flippers, a goPro and travel to location where whales are?

I haven't done it yet, but I'm thinking of volunteering at a place in Australia where you get to join tours where they swim with Whale sharks and Humpback whales. I want to do this when I take a gap year so I have plenty of time to plan my trip (I'm taking a gapyear in 2020). The things you want to do may not be possible right now, but that doesn't mean you're never going to do it.

    • @EleanorCharlotte8855
      @EleanorCharlotte8855 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hope the swimmers and divers or anyone in the sea do not use sun cream. It really does kill the fish and pollute the shallow reefs. I wish there was a product developed undamaging the sea, organic and natural blocks like aloe (or somthing stickier to protect the skin from rash and red spots etc). Otherwise, I'd rather wear long-sleeves wetsuits without any sun block
