The Zamrock train rolls on in the Gibson household. I have yet to crack the seal on an original Zambian press, afraid to. Perhaps something will float across my desk...see you soon!
Dave, Hawkwind has some great abums, but also many recordings with just, a few great tunes. I love '' Doremi Fasol Latido'' ( love the album title too) and the live ''Space Ritual'', my deluxe cd version is "more of a good thing''. Hawkwind, The Deviants and The Pink Fairies were, in my opinion, the forerunners of Punk. The only song I know from the album that you showed is '' Lost Johnny'', perhaps one of Hawkwind's best creations. I'm surprised to see that OG, ''Duo Exchange'', I assumed the asking price on that was outrageous. I paid 99 cents for my OG copy, but that was almost 40 years ago. Rashied Ali was in a group, Phalanx, with Sirone, James ''Blood'' Ulmer and George Adams, their recording, ''In Touch'' from 1988, on the Japanese DIW label, is a monster!
Ngozi 45k volts Vol. II is the rarer of the 2. Always good to see you!
Dave, yea man, MC5, Zamrock, and Hawkwind great stuff. Glad to see you. Hope you are feeling better. Peace ☮️ Namaste 🙏 the Zonkman
Cool, love those og Zambia records !

Will check out Phalanx. Guy accepted my offer on the Ali which I was shocked because it was way below list.
Woah, that drums and folklore looks awesome. I have to check that out.
Gruntz on piano with a host of drummers. Nathan Davis on it also was a big selling point for me.
As you would say: good shit. still need a copy of that Ali/Lowe
Will keep my eyes peeled on another copy of the Ali for you.
I thought we were the only ones buying Zamrock Dave
Appears we have competition now.
man, he stiill has more of the Zambian stuff, pretty amazing... crank the mc5 dude... motor city is burning!
