I'm a visual learner, and you've helped me learn how to do so many different things, that I finally got up the nerve to open up my own Etsy shop to share my creations. (when I first started crocheting, all I knew how to make were single-crochet scarves!) This channel (and you, obviously) are amazing and so inspiring. ♥

I am currently making two collegiate baby afghans. One for University of Ohio and one for University of Kentucky. I just made sample letters of U and C in white. Very easy to follow. I used the biggest hook I have, which is an N, but I think I need to go for a bigger size/shape for the letter. I like the hook I am using, but I think I need to cast on more than 28 and 25, respectively. Do you have an idea of how many I should cast on? This is something I would need to play around with, yes?
Hi there, your letters are wonderful. But just wondering if you have a tutorial on doing numbers? I need to make the number 1. I could try adjusting your letter I perhaps.
Barbara Back just make your first chain longer hun, and when you do your first lot of treble ( US term) or double ( UK term) just do more of them to make it longer then do the 3 trebles +1 so it makes 4 trebles with 2 in one chain so it makes 8 altogether then instead of doing 1 treble do about 3 or 4 then the 3 trebles +1 so it makes 4 trebles with 2 in one chain so it makes 8 altogether then the long side. Hope this helps.
Could you please do the letter Z I decided to make these as ornaments for the children in my classroom but I have a Zoe and I would really appreciate it if I could make it before winter break our last day of school is the 22 please help I just know my kids would just love these to hang on their trees

This came out smaller than R and M! Had to adapt and add a few stitches to each bit to get it to scale but easy to follow
