You don’t need to remove the first ball joint from the knuckle to adjust chamber. The two nuts loosened will allow the threads to slide back and forth through the upper control arm. Honestly most initial adjustments are only to correct for poor tolerances in the frame fabrication. They are hard to get perfect but you can get pretty close. The last one I put together I had to trim off a 1/2 inch of tie rod sleeve on one side of the steering linkage just to try and get that wheel straight. Insane
