The Weird & Wonderful METAMORA, Indiana - driving through and dorking out!

I happened across the small tourist village of Metamora, Indiana on my way to Chicago. It looked so interesting from the road that I had to drive through and have a closer look!

This is a place I'd like to have a winter home at. Jan-April when no tourist activity is happening. A quiet little place with hills and a river.

LOVE the Hulk carving. I can't wait to visit again. I'd like to come up for Canal Days whenever that comes around again.

Canal Days is the first weekend in October, but Christmas walk is coming up in November.
