An incredible game last night in Music City! We are joined by Ed Jovanovski to break down Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators Game 4 in the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs. After discussing the game and sharing some old stories, Brendan and Jovo get into some questions from the fans.

What a comeback, reminds me of Matt Cooke in 04. Nashville doesnt recover from that loss, canucks in 5!
Canucks are playing hard to end series at home so they can heal their battle scars and get some rest before next series begins! Hopefully! Go Canucks Go! 💙💚
I disliked game 4 as a fan. It's tough watching your team struggle to move through zones. Alot of getting beat to the puck, losing battles and losing the physical game.
I can't knock a win or the effort in small moments though.
It doesn't matter who our keeper is, (they're all solid goaltenders), but we have to be offensive and connect passes. Guys have to find space to be open.
There's always open ice and you have to exploit angles. I saw alot of space on defenders passing to a checked team mate to break out of our zone.
Nashville forecheck was aggressive but when we did have space for them we didn't use it well.
Tough game to watch.
If Petey can step and have a 3 point game then that is the series. I am predicting he will. I also think the "3rd" line will make a few big plays.
Jere is a bit bigger.. 6 ft-190 lbs 😉

Stumbled on your channel and subscribed right away. I’ve been a diehard Canucks fan for almost 30 years now. The West Coast express era was during my childhood and involve some of my favourite memories as a fan. Jovo scored the lone goal in a 1-1 tie against the Avalanche my first live game back in the early 2000’s. Nice video. Go Canucks Go! Finish those Preds tomorrow!

Hey guys, how about Silovs? John Garrett brought forward the fellow's history with his Latvian IIHF national team: World Championship tournament MVP last year. He's no slouch.
I've always been confident in our goaltending. Whoever it is we don't have an issue there. Alot of other offensive and defensive issues. When you have a goalie perform as good as Demko has though alot of ppl think it's the end of the world. A game where a deflection and 2 goals against where his D left him out to dry and people were slamming Desmith.
Fans don't have objective outlooks. The passion is great but if you don't temper it with reason it's just feelings.
Silvos got some great experience and if Demko doesn't make it back the best we can hope for is having the ability to utilize 2 keepers. While everyone else will have a tired keeper playing every game.

@@allewis4008 By always I meant this season. Dan Cloutier though held a high .8 low .9 gaa for us for 8 seasons. Some famous goofs but overall a solid keeper.

Game 4 last night reminded of some playoff runs back in the day. I remember watching Brendan and Ed in 2004 Game 7 vs Calgary, although the team didn't pull off the win. Brendan was on the ice that time and Ed was in the penalty box. Markus Naslund goes end to end, takes a shot on Kiprusoff, Matt Cooke with the rebound and scores with 5.7 seconds left to bring it to OT.
I love the dog in back ground , hockey is such a real life sport , the interview needs to real too , great conversation guys
If 1/3 of westcoast express and Jovocop are puzzled as to why the Crow didn't play the moose, only the Crow and the big guy upstairs know.

Just googled brendan and morrison was the top hit, above fraser cuz a coworker at panago in pitt meadows told me mo was from pitt meadows so i just googled him. That was early 2000s when pitt meadows had a panago before it moved in 05-06

Great hit! Unfortunate for deadmarsh. Was never the same after. Hope he is well. Rick T is the best overall coach in canucks history. Having this coaching group helps for sure.

As you had mentioned about the 2004 Calgary Flames playoff series, Mikka Kiprusoff had a historic season. it would be unfair to blame any Canucks goalie for losing to the Flames in playoffs that year.

If the Canucks don’t start playing better, I don’t see them getting past round 2. Half the forwards, Petey, Mikheyev, Suter, Lindholm, Hoglander, etc… need to step it up.
