I was there with a few others in our caving group, 50 years ago, early 1970's. I remember the opening of the cave and the way leading up to it looking much different ftom this video. It was beautiful, very green all around with lots of pine trees. I remember going down in it and all of us seeing that huge stalagmite and saying that we thought it was bigger than the biggest formation in Carlsbad Caverns. Those were fun times.
Glad to see another post. I was wondering. HA! I hope you enjoy that Vacation. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Please stay safe and ENJOY! I always look forward to the next one.
Wish I could have gone on such a trip when I was out there. I did get to tour the lower levels of Carlsbad, got to see some boneyard, plus a trip into Lechuguilla for video assist. Thanks for the video!
I typicaly see formations this large photographed in south-eastern Asia , Not north america . . so it's realy cool that you can see something of similar scale here
Would love for you to come on down to Tennessee and we'd be happy to take you caving and or surveying! We've been caving in TAG for 20 years and do a lot of survey as well. You've probably seen some of Jason's maps in the NSS Cartography Salons. Just let us know!

Thanks Paul. Got a few more videos from our vacation, and a few others in the works!
Great video, thank you for showing us
Thank you.

It was a dipping our toes in the water kind of trip. We hope to make it back out there someday for some more caving!
Cool, very cool. I hope there will be longer videos to come.?
Yes, it's always a struggle how short or how long to make videos!
With your videos. The longer the better. 🙂
@@PaintedTurtle001 Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. Part two should be at least 20 minutes
Amazing!

Right. They are very impressive in this cave! This video does not do them justice.
Beautiful giant formations! I suppose there is a ‘public allowed only’ section of this cave.
Correct, there is a gate to another closed off section.
WoW Its another world ..
If you're going to come into my territory and make a video then I might just need to make some videos in TN. Challenge accepted!

@@tag_caver Yes, I've been an admirer of Jason's maps for many years. I'll let you know if I come out east and hopefully we can cave together.
