I love this song. Its so simple and charming, and so genuine and honest. "I don't care for parties and live a quiet life and I never felt at ease within a crowd..." I love that. Thank you for posting this wonderful gem of a musical creation. Australia
Here I am, a 61 year old prog rock loving geezer and I find myself dreamily soaking up this song of my 70s youth. Some things never really go away, they just drift to an obscure place in your mind only to sail back to the present bringing with it a flood of memories. Such a thing is this song.
I’m a millennial too, and I found this a few years ago looking for REM’s song by the same title. This song is a masterpiece. I listened to it many a tough night back then. So heartfelt and timeless.
My late husband used to sing that to me when we were driving to the city for his Cancer treatment and home again. We used to play it from a tape recording in the car. Such a beautiful song brings back a lot of memories.
Timeless classic. I was only a Grade 1 pupil then when I first heard this great song. I love it. A very romantic song that will surely win every woman's heart when serenaded with this song. 😊👍💖
Thanks, Khristine, for uploading this version. This may not be the original studio version but this was the only version played in the radio back in the 70s in the Philippines. Rare find!
We used to sing this song together with my late best friend Rodrigo "El Cid " Alivio in their home in Labangon , Cebu City during the late 1970's after our High School classes in the University of the Visayas, Cebu City. We were re-united in the latter years of the year 2000 . He lived with us here in Butuan City until his death in December 2019. So sad losing a best friend . Prior to his death we used to sing this song as a reminder of our youth in Cebu City. May his soul had already join with our creator.

When i was a teen i heard this song and i was exite when i heard it but i do not know the title. So i search for it and when i found it i played it more than thrice a day..i love it...
This song was sent to me thru messenger by a philippine military academy grad...a military man and a brilliant man yet until by now he is still searching for his true love. I fell in love with the song but not with him. He needs a perfect woman and I am not.
Mike your breaking my heart. I'm still waiting for the one I love I think that my chance will go with the last dance of the night. Xo love you Mike. Stephen grieve central coast of NSW Australia xo
