Awesome. Love the research and the success stories. Interesting...I've been using my own scale for years to access my wife's status or level of her bi-polar/scitzophrenia. Thank you all to continue this effort.
Really sensible useful stuff coming from Dietetics ! (It was a long time coming - not the fault of the dieticians, they have to follow the , often disastrous, lead of local professors of Nutrition)
Thank you guys for all the wonderful work and dedication to the cause we only got 1/2 way to Townsville and the wheels fell off Once my son gets out of Accute ward we will get to Townsville What level of Ketones are you aiming for in the trial 🤔
In the same way that in pharmaceutical trials, the placebo control groups mysteriously report exactly the same rare symptoms - such as akathisia or dyskinesia - that the trial drugs cause!
Theres too much weak, correlative gut biome stuff being shouted loud. We need to collect a database of a gut microbiome analysis in whole food keto and carnivore folks, to counter the ASSUMPTIONS being made.
That's a great point. Hopefully, there will be more data on the horizon for gut microbiome and true ketogenic diets or carnivore diets, and see how that correlates with health status.

2:1 isn't the only guidance they are given. They are given much more detailed advice that fits within a 2:1 ratio, Sorry if that wasn't clear from the interview.
They're using the definition of a 2: 1 THERAPEUTIC ketogenic diet. Work out total energy intake, work out the energy divide between fat and prote+ carbs, define their protein intake and the 'left over' energy is all that goes to carbs. Not much left at that stage.
It's so encouraging knowing these studies are finally being conducted
We agree!
Your enthusiasm and dedication made me cry. I can't wait for the publication.
Thank you, Dr Scher. Good luck and success to the team.
Thnx soooooo much!
Keep up the GREAT work👊

The right diet makes a world of difference!
Fantastic, thanks to all involved.

this will be interesting
Ha! I love his faith in the Australian guidelines' ability to help the 'control' arm lose weight and improve metabolically

Agree that chicken breaded would not be keto in my book.
Hmmmm. Too far to relocate, but made me smile.
I don’t recall them monitoring blood ketones. We won’t know if this is a therapeutic ketogenic diet or just another food salad.
They are definitely measuring ketones as part of their protocol.
@@metabolicmind Okay, I found it strange that wasn’t the focus of the treatment. Tks
@@lottoretirementstrategist7569Because the food and pharma industry does not like it.
Is there a study in the US?
This page of our website lists the ongoing trials, many of which are in the US. www.metabolicmind.org/research
yes. lookup on google. : A study led by researchers at Stanford Medicine showed that diet can help those with serious mental illness.
How many carbs in a GMO Cavendish Banana don't you mean?
Now that could be a study on its own , GMO food versus organic in every aspect
💯👍🤗✅
Comida you mención more foods you used? You mentioned olives and kimchi

Assumptions like what?
@@AZ-kr6ff that only people who eat lots of fibre could possibly have healthy guts.

Oh, ok.
I don't know much about carnivore.

Use AI to create a summary of the dialogue.
Really ? I find AI is out of sync

2 gram of fat (what type, corn oil?).
1 gram combined carbs and protein.
Deep fried breaded chicken wings?
Awful design for a keto diet.

@@metabolicmind I guess my mood is the study will be weak if certain exclusions weren’t made. I’m happy for the study to go forward. Thanks.
