    Hi Lloyd, I met you at the session and I can confirm that you are the nicest person in magic. I was just walking around, and you invited me over, asking my name and showing me tricks. As the session was my first ever convention (I’m only 13), it was a great start. I love rubber band magic and this is going directly into my working act. Thank you for everything you do.
    Whoever wins the bundle, congratulations!!

    So cool!!!! I actually came up with something verry similar to this with the same method, except I did not use the ring, I just break the rubber band, tie it up, but then I use the moves from Justin Miller's Lightspeed to take the knot off and back on a different place a few times before un-tieing it and taking it off. My version requires fewer setups, but does not end with an impossible object like yours, and your version also have a justified reason to break the rubber band. There are so many great rope tricks that can be turned into rubber band tricks.

    Would it be possible to use glue to stick the knot on the band in a way that you can just pull the knot off and it's still tied? Personally I'd love the look of just... pulling the knot off the band rather than having it left untied.

    • @LloydB
      @LloydB  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I reckon a tiny piece of double stick tape would work tbh. But you wouldn't be able to manipulate the band so ruggedly. But I think it'd totally work :)

    • @alcy-
      @alcy- ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LloydB As an update, I tried testing it a bit with a couple of bands and it seems to work. The hardest part is honestly getting the knot to look like it was tied on the band rather than just sitting on it (I found that squishing it down while in the initial drying phase works well). Takes surprisingly little force to pull it off once the glue is dry, but as long as you're careful to not put too much force on the knot it should hold
