With tricks like these I like “watch what happens” just in case something slightly different happens like the card sliding off or the deck moving to the side or launching instead. Sometimes you just get a better/different effect and can play it off lol
It's similar to this except the rubber band is used as a slingshot for the reveal card, hence the card cannot be on top but buried in the deck so tension can be held until release. A little digging on the net Im sure you can find it, its a very satisfying trick for sure.
Just make sure that the two strands look like one strand at the beginning so that when the card appears to penetrate The strand still look like one band like you did at the beginning so they can't tell the difference also line it up in the center so that after the penetration the band is still centered and it looks like nothing has changed except just the card going through the band
This reminds me of a trick I used to do in primary school: so you put a rubber band on all 4 fingers at the base, then close your fist and put the other side of the band only on 2 finger tips, but only show the person that bit. Then open your hand and it jumps fingers
Oh wait this is a learn how, I totally skipped the word learn and thought this was just a trick video and was going to ask, why you showed us how to do it? 😂 Also can you do the setup without the spectator noticing?
Isent that the same Principle from the Magician Denis Behr he has a Routine called Herbert the Rubberband and its kinda like that with the Diffrence that the Band is finding a selected Card at the End
I saw one where the rubber band shot the card out of the deck. I know how it's usually done but this one was sitting on the table when it happened.
