Thank you. It was spectacular in person. Wish we could have caught it on camera enough to do it justice. Thanks for watching!

I remember that weekend crazy windy and wet. We were at Crocker but decided to spend a couple nights at the dock in little current.

Yeah it was! LC is a good place to sit when the wind picks up.

That smoke was bad for a few days then it rained and everyone’s boat was grey 😕

The ash was crazy. I’ve never seen anything like that before. Everything was a constant haze until the wind finally picked up enough to blow it out of the area.

That was a fun video. How many fuel ups did you have to do for the trip? I imagine much less than the SeaRay ya?

Thanks! We could technically do the whole trip without fuelling, but I think we topped of 3 times. I like the way the boat runs when it has a bit more weight in it. The Sea Ray would get about 1.5-1.8 MPG and the trawler we are seeing about 5-6 MPG. So much better! Especially with the fuel prices this year.

Good stuff guys! I just found your channel today and watched a bunch of your videos. I have a 1984 Chris-Craft Catalina 381 that I want to take up to the North Channel and in to Georgian Bay one of these days. Lots of boating content on my channel if you wanna check it out too. I look forward to your new season of videos! My home port is Sturgeon Bay, WI on the Door County Peninsula.

Thanks for checking our our channel. We are happy you’re enjoying the videos. CC 381 is a beautiful boat. So much living space and comfort. The North Channel and Georgian Bay would be worth the trip. I don’t think you would be disappointed. We will definitely check out your videos. TH-cam boating is what keeps us going through the winter lol
