In your second 3--3 invasion at bottom left, your opponent *could* have blocked above your stone, and created a wall facing his own strength at upper left. Then I think you would have to admit your invasion had failed. (It's easy to get a good result if your opponent cooperates.)
Naming them was a good idea, makes them way easier to remember :D
