I've been a homebrewer for nearly 10 years and I am still fascinated by the violent fermentations that the yeast are able to create. I'll just sit and watch my carboy bubble away for like 20 minutes at a time.
@Seekthetruth5664 yeah, isn't that why we're all here?
same
@Seekthetruth5664 have you ever watched a 40L batch of brew literally shaking its vessel off the ground during peak fermentation while the airlock is going crazy? That is a hypnotizing event and makes you lose your sense of time.
@Seekthetruth5664 you don't need to. You can enjoy just watching something 10 minutes or so for free (most of the time).
@Seekthetruth5664 its just 10 minutes mate
I didn't realize how fascinating microbiology is until I started watch videos from this channel :o
@Mark Ulis mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cells
Yep it's super fascinating. Me personally I've always been fascinated by how pathogens work inside the body to make us sick and how we can use those mechanisms against it to treat the sickness. After I get my bachelor's in microbiology I hope to go into disease research to find new treatments for disease.
Also try the channel Journey to the Microcosmos.
Lol really? You never had biology class?
i was a medical microbiologist for most of my life. I have a new microscope beside my computer at home. I have saved my life a few times.
Bro your guitar playing has improved so much, loved that solo.
I can't express my self enough how I love your guitar tone! Also tunes are very musical and nicely put together! Well done sir!
This is sick, I knew how yeast worked and all that, but I've never actually seen it on the microscopic scale. Also super cool that you play your own music! You just got me to watch 4 minutes of fungus making bubbles.
your guitar makes the video so soothing
Slaying that guitar dude. Wow
i really love your videos
your voice and musics are so soothing
The king has returned
I bake and brew so this video was especially fabulous - thank you for your hard work and effort to share!
I have a mild trypophobia, but I wanted to learn about yeast.
so contrasting uhhh
now I got goosebumps all over my body.
Legit wasn't into Science-y stuff UNTIL I found this channel.
The backsound you put made the video more intriguing and interesting
One of my favorite videos of yours, loved the voice-over explanation and images!
Wow. I dont wanna tell people how much I enjoy this kind of stuff. Its just so fascinating to me.
You have to admit, these little guys feed humanity.
And also make mold but we aren't going to get into that yet
Always wanted to own a magnification scope for these tiny stuff. But you have one so I’ll just watch your videos! Awesome work!
The video I didn’t know I needed to see
The touch of music made this informative video really enjoyable.
Dude, his voice, combined with that relaxing guitar line, I can barely keep my eyes open.
Because I love to make yeast raised bread, I felt obligated to watch this video. The work of these funguys (instead of fungi) makes baking so delicious and it is so enjoyable.
One interesting theory I heard is since that this specific kind of yeast is apparently not present in nature, humans might have unwittingly domesticated it. Interesting if true.
There are wild naturally occurring strains, but this strain has been domesticated. They are used to growing in these environments that we provide for the yeast and have adapted to them. Similar to how we have dogs at home while there are wolves in the wild.
@@sci-inspihow do you kill it in the body?
@@standforchange08anti fungal medications
I’m falling asleep watching this at bedtime, this manages to be relaxing
That guitar dude this is a great vid👌
I ventured into bread baking and was always curious to see how it really happens in microscope, thanks.
Same here! I just started making sourdough and have been fascinated by the yeast that I have to keep fed, lol.
You are so normal, but a great man, thank you :)
I just was searching for the incredible music in this video only to learn it’s ------ YOU.
My good god you’re a genius my friend. Phenomenal beyond.
Thank you!
Perfect views and perfect introduction. It’s a perfect perfect here👌🫀
The smell of fluffy, risen yeast dough is one of my favorites. In addition to scent of the fresh bread or cake that come out of it.
this is so interesting! The footage is really good and you are clearly knowledgeable on the subject. What most stands out to me is how the music is calming but not generic. thanks for making your videos!
Its my childhood doubt, and its cleared now... Thanks
As a guy who makes personal home wine for myself...this is pretty cool...Thanks
Yeast taught humanity alot of things
This little guy causes a lot of trouble with its excrement lol…
yeast be like: "oh gawd, all this sugar and water gives me FLATULENCE!! "
LOOOL
That yeasted guitar sound is killer
This is by far my most favourite video ever. Omg it's so amazing to see them work. I love making dough, I love when it raises, it's just so interesting and beautiful. ❤
Pretty sweet guitar sweeps man
Didn't know yeast could play guitar so well
the only channel to make yeast interesting:
Yeast is also a great example of how natural selection can sometimes result in the simplification of organisms, as we know they evolved from multicellular fungi.
Beautiful footage of beautiful fungi with clear explination
and there is many spieces, especially used in brewking and winemaking as they grow in different enviroments and give s;ightly different products
what helpful little bois
Microscope brought revolution in the field of science
Nice 👍🏾
Thanks 💯
I’m just amazed how fast yeast consumes sugar and clean flour mixed with water! 🐁
This is art.
Great guitar playing nice you should do guitar videos nice solo to
When you look at yeast when you're tripping on acid you can see the life energy flowing through them😁
i wish you would post videos everyday
This is so fascinating, thank you. I believe, almost every “Bread Baker 👩🍳 ” who purports to be Expert on Yeast, should be required to see this video. When I listen to their “scientific” explanations of Yeast metabolism, it makes me cringe 😬
What a great video. Thanks for making this!!
I love this so much!
Beer, bread, wine, or vinegar. Each one with a variety of applications from food and drink, to even cleaning.
Yeast is truly one of the most magnificent things in the world
Well said!
No not if they putting it in humans through mutations. How do you kill the bakers yeast u
@@standforchange08what are you talking about? Putting what through mutations how? And simple, you bake it. That kills it and stops it from growing. In the case of drinks, enough carbon dioxide buildup and lack of food and they die out naturally. Same reason if you were to deal something in a vacuum chamber and turn off the air, or deprive them of food long enough.
Damn they work fast
simply incredible.
Love your guitar work! 🙌💜
Fungi are so cool 🍄 beautiful images
Nice riff
Love these little guys
When you realize you're eating microbiology secretion
This is so satisfying 💖😍
might be good to add a pH colour indicator to the solution
I’m drinking some yeast farts right now; specifically of the Blue Moon variety.
I brew the beer at a large brewpub. I often play music and for the yeast and talk to them😊
They seem to like a lot of base.
They love 2pac and Bone Thugs
I'm happy you exist
Looking up close to things like this you can see, God is amazing
Wow what are you playing lol this is somewhat theraputic i loved it ahhhh
“Intoxicated or drunk.” I never get drunk, only intoxicated.
Hey stop looking at my future beer.
Can we all appreciate the fact that we are enjoying a video about a bunch of organisms farting?
Thanks for wine bro! Its really good at de-stressing me
poetry in motion
so fluffy texture is from yeast farts?
1:40 AMUGUS
P.S: Great Video!
that one was actually funny
Be happy
watched this in my class
We Already Saw That from the Other Videos. Like Kimchi Under Microscope, Milk Under a Microscope and Yogurt Under a Microscope
Great vid
Thank you
this is art T_T
Ahh so basically I'm eating eggs when eating food with yeast on a larger scale.
this is awesome
Yay! Yeast farts! Helps me deal with everyday life 🤠
Good organisms win
Helpful rating
Very fascinating
3:20 looks like the universe inside circles
I want to see a slo-mo of the bubbles joining together. I’m curious about what happens to the yeast in between the bubbles before they join together.
Your should be shown in schools. Cmon teachers! Do your thing!
I'm fermenting orange juice and it's like a tidal wave in the bottle at times!
Collective fermentation can be quite violent!
I think your footage would be epic for (moving) backgrounds. I would buy it instantly, without a doubt.
I love having multiple background that change every 10-30 minutes. These video's would be epic. You only have to add the name of the substance (yeast in this case) and let the background slowly develop.
Yeast or sour dough are just traditional way of raising a dough which are inevitably outdated , nowadays the most common and popular to make a fluffy dough is by simply putting a baking soda or baking powder
Cool you are my new favorite channel. Amazing job
Make a Yeast vs Bacterium video!:)
Which Bacterias in ‘Human Gut’ takes over yeast easily + how to make/populate them at home!
Guys nasty at the guitar. Nice arrpegios.
All I imagine is millions of bacteria living their super-quick life and collectively farting to make the beautiful bubbles we love in our bread.
Lovely. Getting pissed on yeast farts since 1996
Literally watching microbes fart.
What if the entire universe as we know it is just a bubble in someone else's cooking process?
🤔
Surface tension reacts so fast!!
