Damn close to perfect. Thanks for making your video. Great seeing the soft cover actually soft!
It is a really good design and yes! I'm so excited for the soft cover --- I'm excited to use this because it feels so welcoming!
Considering i use and love pretty much EVERY planner you use.... I can NOT wait to see what you come up with with your planner. Eee i hope youre able to do sneak peeks or preorders or SOMETHING!!! I WANNA SEEEEE 😂😂😂
Thank you so much!! I will be sharing as soon as I have a sample to share. Might do some sneak pics on IG or the community tab in June too. I’m excited but anxious about the whole endeavor.
So many things getting released and teased by all the indie planner companies right now. It's so fun to see all the different interpretations. How am I going to choose next year???
Yes there's so much coming out! And so much creativity from many. It definitely makes decisions hard!
@@JustScribble I've made the hard decision not to preorder this year. I just feel like I need to see all the options before I decide
@@KatiesCraftStudio That makes perfect sense. I don't think I'm doing my planner as a preorder - I think I'm just doing RTS...it's a hard decision but that's how I'm leaning with the timing and balancing work and my channel and family.
@@JustScribble yeah, I mean it's tough. For the shop owner I totally get the desire for pre-orders, it helps them fund it and that is huge. But right now there's so many things I'd be happy with, I don't feel like I need to lock things down. (I'm DYING to see what you've designed, though!)
@@JustScribbleI think this is best because I never understood preorders and then having to wait 6 months to use a planner... Just takes up space and then by then we may find something else to use so I really do think that's a smart business choice on your part.
Thank you. You helped me a lot to understand. I need some dates to keep me on the right page. Looks nice. Lots of room for decorating.
You are so welcome! I like the dates for keeping me on track too. And I love that I don’t have to date this for the dailies.
Great job. Appreciate your clarification.
Glad it was helpful!
Now, I need this!
It’s a really good planner design! Thanks for watching!
Heyyyyy ❤ great video 😊
Thank you!!
Interesting
Yes - not how I'm planning a daily planner but I like it for a journal. Thanks for watching :)
I was thinking about the kinbor when watching! Soooooo I heard you talk about making planners. I am too excited to see what you are making!
Yes! Thank you! I'll be sharing details once I have samples in hand (but might share some sneaks before then too). I'm excited...nervous and excited. It's been a lot of work and learning but it's been a fun process and I truly hope it fills a void in the community!
@@JustScribble oh now I’m real excited!
I totally agree with you on loving the days to have the month and day numbers! Such a great touch. I hope she ended up doing more sizes. Currently using a hobonichi hon a6 but would love a SI instead.
I highly suspect she'll be launching Daily Planners (dated) for 2025 in a few sizes. So definitely watch for her 2025 launch info on IG/FB/YT. I could be wrong but that's my hunch.
Thanks so much for this thorough review. At the beginning of this year, I discovered that Hobonichi Cousin just isn't right for me anymore and I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do for 2024. I really like the flexibility Sterling Ink offers. Thanks again!
You are so welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I have a playlist for SterlingInk walking thru thru existing planner options.
I also have review videos on a lot of other planners including Wonderland222, Twines&Paper, Papertess and more. And of course I’m working on a planner for 2025 as well.
@@JustScribble I'll check them out - thanks! 🙂
I really like this set up for daily journaling. My concern is the grid is so light. I have trouble seeing light grids and end up not writing straight. It drives me nuts!
I completely understand. The grid is darker than it used to be but it’s still so light. That’s one of the things I’m focusing on with the ones I’m launching because I feel like so many are too light.
@@JustScribble I can't wait to see yours!
I’m so confused. The ones that she’s showing on the SI TH-cam have weeklies. I love the layout on the one you showed. But she’s showing undated one with weeklies. What am I missing?
This confused me too. She goes over it in her recent video on the sterling ink channel.
There's 2 different undated lines now. The undated COMMON planner, which has the weeklies. And the undated DAILY planner which is the one we see here. The undated common planner we've seen before, but the undated daily is a new product. The common planner is like the hobonichi cousin and the daily planner is like the original a6 hobonichi. She also super subtle teased that there may be a dated version of this new daily planner coming 🤞🤞
She didn't do a YT video on the daily planner. She only did a video on the academic and another video on the undated common planners (which include weeklies). That said, she did show the daily planner (that I shared here) within the undated common planner video. She has time stamps if you want to get to that section quickly. I linked both her videos in my description.
She also shared these daily planners on IG. But you are correct she did not share this planner (the Daily Planner) on YT in it's own video.
She has undated Common Planners (the Common Planner is a full planner with goals, quarterly tracking, monthlies, weeklies and grid pages for notes/dailies). She has dated Common Planners (2025 launch details haven't been released just yet). She has a 2024-2025 dated Academic Planner. And she has the Daily Planner (shown here) which is undated.
I suspect she will be launching dated Daily Planners for 2025 so she'll have the Common Planner (which has weeklies) and the Daily Planner (which has no weeklies) - in both dated and undated options. But that's just my hunch.
I’m not sure I would have caught that very subtle word change. I use several of her common planners…..but I never caught “daily planner”. I can’t be the only one.
@@kimhuschke i completely understand. I’m not sure if she shared it on FB but I was surprised it didn’t have its own video on YT. But I’m glad I was able to get one and share 💗
I love this new style, I just wish it came dated and in a6 size. I want a hobonichi original without quotes and colors lol
I'm curious what she's adding to her 2025 dated line-up. I feel like she has some additions in store. Maybe this will be one of them :) Thanks so much for watching.
When do you anticipate the launch of the planners you are designing? Any sneek peeks?
I will be share when I have samples in hand but I don't have an ETA on the launch quite yet. I should be able to share more info mid-June.
@@JustScribbleAHHHH?!!! I stalked the comments to see if someone asked lol
@@Chaos_and_Creativity Inquiring minds want to know...
@@Chaos_and_Creativity working hard on it! Its a lot of work and then I have goals and plans for more planners and sizes and so keeping all the ideas straight and not getting distracted is hard 😂
I was happy until i saw the dated dailies. I could make it work, but really, I just want a Hobonichi day free planner layout in B6.
There’s a few options in the planner community like that - you just have to date their monthlies which is easy and fun. I’ll be sharing the LaurenPhelpsDesigns soon but they offer a day free style - just monthlies and grid pages and PlannerMonkeyCo has one too (freely planned) which I’ve shared in the past. Both are great options.
@JustScribble Going to check it out!
