Very nice work. I’ve seen a lot of skate deck art but not with cutting out the edging very cool idea. Love the use of color and our Style. Keep up the good work 👍
@@MagicMan.22 i wouldn’t say I stick to one brand, goldens always great but quite expensive. Otherwise I vary between house paint and most brands found in art shops
Thanks man! You can see the prices here: www.lukaskasper.com/shop they’re all displayed in aud Not really in it for the business part more the art but I have been really happy with the engagement with my skateboard art projects
Projection is problematic with slight movements in the piece + cables setup and pack down is a hassle. My markings are much more accurate to with the transfer technique
@@Kaspersart I do the same thing you do as far as custom art on boards. But mine are pretty much brand new boards, and then I put them all together with new parts like the trucks, bases, bearings and wheels. The only reason I wouldn't use the varnish is because the boards I'm doing are being used. I'm assuming that yours are strictly hangable artwork? If I didn't use resin the custom work would be destroyed in a matter of days.
@@Kaspersart completely understand bruddah. I have one customer who has requested 2 boards for use as shelves. I'll most likely do that instead of the resin pour.
Much love and respect to you and your channel Lukas Kasper

Cheers man, the carving started from painting a bunch of really trashed boards. A bit of a creative way to take out all the chips and imperfections
Sick work!

Very nice! Are you renting out space in an art studio or something? It looks like a good place for inspiration.

Awesome work bro, im looki g to do some myself and was wondering what brand acrylic paints you use?
@@MagicMan.22 i wouldn’t say I stick to one brand, goldens always great but quite expensive. Otherwise I vary between house paint and most brands found in art shops
What’s that white background before you paint on the board?😮
Standard acrylic primer

Honestly i would buy one of these boards

Amazing work bro!!! How much do you sell your custom painted boards for, and is it a lucrative business?

Do you clear coat them?
Yeah all are finished with a Matt or gloss clear coat spray depending on the design
@@Kaspersart cool cool, super fresh by the way. I might email you, I'm thinking about having some stuff shipped to Romania.
@@AUSTORMCHASERS Sounds good, ill keep my eyes on my emails 😄
Nice job. What brand are the white "markers" ?
you could save more on paper and ink get a cheap projector for your computer and project the image on the skateboard and trace

Hi Lukas you remember me you gave me the key chain today at melrose primary school🎉
Sure do! Nice meeting you :))) enjoy the key ring
@@Kaspersart Hey
Improve everything do but don’t worry you get there and make the video a bit longer but overall love you work
Why are you not sealing your board art? Epoxy resin would not only protect your work but make it pop pop pop!
I seal all my boards with a art grade spray varnish, those epoxy resins are great but this way it’s much less risk and keeps my work affordable

@@joelando1559 yeah all my pieces are made to be wall boards, no need for resign other than a nice glassy aesthetic
