Navy seals and SAS billeted in the same Afgan outpost. Navy seals put a sign on their tent "second to none". SAS put a sign on their tent "none". All in good humor. Respect to both forces.
🤣🤣I can actully belive that
i heard it was delta.. could be wrong though
@@cw-is8vw Whoever it was, it was laconic. “If I invade Lakonia you will be destroyed, never to rise again.” The Spartans replied with one word, “If.” The pen is mightier than the sword.
@@cw-is8vw IMO if it were Delta they would have written second to SEALS. Who would write as reported, and the gentlemen from Herefordshire as usual NONE.
Usa and the uk are the best out there 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸
The lone SAS operator who happened to be on a training exercise in Nairobi and who tooled up from his own car boot armoury then took on the terrorists single-handed deserves a VC. His quiet confidence and professionalism were exemplary.
I couldn't agree more. Thank you for watching
He will likely get a medal but you won’t hear about it. And it will likely be the QGM; VCs are only given at a time of conflict and in circumstances where death is almost a given. The enemy he was up against never stood a chance!
I believe he got an award of a Conspicuous Gallantry Cross just before xmas 2019 from the queen. What he did was not quite VC material ! 😯😃
This would have been classed as a peace time mission and as such the highest award would have been the GC. You would be able to check in the London Gazette what medal was given to this guy.

From America to the UK, it always makes me happy to see a blurred face, and rip to those who served for y’all. Glad we all are on the same side!
William Nolan I wake up every morning and thank the US for my freedom, like most Veterans my first reaction to 9/11 was we better join our US brothers & sisters. Attack our brothers and you attack us. God bless the USA.
@@ironhand9096 I agree with you mate. The US will always be our Brothers and Sisters and like a family, we will always fight together.
Raleighburner15 Hynes I’d imagine that we don’t live in the year 1814?
Raleighburner15 Hynes That’s a good question you ask yourself and evaluate. Per your understanding on “why” we do that, it’s to give the Brits a bad name, and make everyone look at them like they are scandalous, murderous people. Which completely goes against our alliance with Britain, why US Special Forces and Britain Special Forces work together on a TON of missions. If everyone looked at the Brits the same way you did, then we wouldn’t be working with Brits on classified, dangerous missions. We wouldn’t train with them to show them our training style, nor would they with us. Your logic doesn’t align up with the US and British relations. By my understanding, they hold that “commemoration” to remember a major historical event, because it’s quite interesting to see how history was back then between US and Brits. It’s not to give the modern day Brits a bad name, I see it as a major historical event for the US, which shaped it how it is now. Oh and BTW, we kinda started that by attacking Ontario. It’s not like we were complete victims :I.

As a Brit I am extremely proud of all our armed forces and give them absolute respect. They have no equal! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ My 🇬🇧
I wish we could use that to stop the boats etc
A good friend of mine who served in the regular British armed services, told me on one occasion they were detailed to protect an electric pylon which the SAS were to attempt to destroy. They stood 10 - 12 feet apart around the wire fence with barb wire around the top and nothing happened all night. Then as dawn broke dummy explosive charges went off around the pylons legs. He has no idea how they did it, or how they were operating within feet of him without his knowledge! SCARY. He also mentioned that on ridiculously long training runs up mountains he would run past SAS troops and wonder what all the hype was about. A short time later " as we were trying to draw breath through our assholes" the SAS would come past us, as if it was a stroll in the country.

There was a John Wayne film on. Suddenly "News Flash." Popped up and it cut live to the embassy. We didn't even know who the SAS were back in those days.

I served with 16 air assault brigade in Ireland around the year 2000, AAC these boys came in for a visit and everything they had kit wise was American, pistol, rifle, no standard SA80 or Browning Pistol. They didn’t speak to us much. Made them a brew and off they went in the blacked out puma, no nav lights over the border they went on an op. Very relaxed set of guys. Only time I bumped into them in my service. 14 int were there as well.
I remember one trying exercise one weekend we mistakenly bumped a SAS patrol. They simply disappeared it was scary. The next morning when we were clearing up we found notes attached to our webbing inviting us down to Hereford. It was a fantastic experience one which I will never forget

One of there nicknames is the 'Pilgrims'.The desert shots of these superb troopers are particularly good as the S.A.S was born as fighting desert warriors created by David Sterling. Now, of course, they specialise in just about every fighting discipline and skills in any region and reconnaissance, 'Recce' work. The people conducting the house raid are CTSFO officers, they're police not army. Still badass though.
That is correct, but they were supported by SAS troopers during the raids. You can see one of the SAS troopers kneeling on the grass in front of the house with his K9 at 4:25 and further back you can see two SAS troopers. You can spot them by their Multicam camouflage, compared to the CTSFO grey uniforms. Glad you enjoyed the video! :)

@@dannyrobertson7046 There was definitely an ATO supporting the SAS and CTSFO operators during the raid
Kanutster do not be suprised if there were a couple of troopers wearing the grey of the CTSFO and breaching CB the house with them. I’m not saying it’s definite but......
CTSFO are still special forces, special forces arent all part of the army, look at the SBS, they’re navy and the Royal Marines commandos are basically special forces too.
