Replacing the Headlight Lens on my F10 550i | Adaptive LED Models

Decided to take on this DIY project and I’m satisfied with how the results came out! This project took me some time but the results make it extremely worth it. Stay tuned for a follow up video on how the headlights are holding up.

Nice work. Have done this process myself a couple of times now. Also on my 550ix. There are also a few U shaped “nails” in the housing holding the lens. I found the worse thing about the job is to pull, cut and what not, to get the freaking old sealant out.
I use Sikaflex 256 sealant filled up the entire gap of the housing and pushed it with an ice cream stick to make it even and get out all the air gaps. This will prevent leaks. And as a tip. Never touch your new lens on the inside!
