- Welcome to episode 2 of my Minecraft 1.21 let's play series! In this episode we spend 90% of it in the mines looking for diamonds because I'm tired of not feeling safe around mobs! I hope you enjoy and I will ketchup with you all in the next one!

You could actually get quite a few levels from a deep dark biome. You do run the risk of spawning the warden but if you play your cards right and get rid of the shriekers it is much safer to get XP that way because mobs don't spawn in the deep dark biome. And as long as you are not in an ancient city it is quite easy to get to level 30 that way. And making a cactus farm and smelting cactus from the farm is also a good efficient way to get XP. You do not get XP from mining iron no matter what type of pickaxe you use. The only minerals you get XP from are lapis and diamonds. At least in the overworld. In the nether you get XP from mining quartz and gold ore. You can also get quite a few levels from fishing and a popular method of getting levels quick is mining quartz.
Well luckily I have the zombie xp farm now!

@@Xgroupgames126 Why would they? They went out of their way to make this an intended game feature. It's not a glitch or a bug. It's intended game design.

trading with villagers will get you xp quickly and safely. sticks for emeralds. build a fletcher's table, wood and flint.
When i get villagers i will definitely be making fletchers for the emeralds, very good trade

iron or gold never give do when mined. the only ones that do are red stone, lapis, coal. i’m not sure about copper.
