Pixel did well in every scenario except capturing the warmth of the evening sunset. The Oppo absolutely nailed the feel of that. Both phones are great!
This is exactly why I sold my oppo find x6 pro and bought a vivo x100 pro. I couldn't stand having my photos turn yellow in both photos and videos. Unfortunately, the Hasselblad calibration pulls too much towards yellow, and this was really irritating me. Imagine a device with the best camera sensors in the world losing to a pixel. The only scenario that Oppo won was in night shooting, as the sensor is much larger than the pixel, otherwise the pixel won in all other situations. Thank you for your work.
Thy but for photo the PIXEL wins easily, but the Oppo do have a CINEMATIC vibe

Night and day difference, Pixel is obviously the winner here, the Oppo images and videos look like they have a layer of white on top of everything, where's the contrast?!

Colors may seem so slight more pleasing in pixel but The trees and the sea in pixel seems more dull and photo seems very processed. Unnatural, oppo seemed more natural and handles lights quite well in most cases and very detailed.

Why only 1X portrait where the oppo is one of the best if not the best when it comes to portraits having 3 different focal lengths at 1X, 3X and 6X?

oppo won, not by far in colours, but for less digital detail, more dynamic range and better optics when shooting directly to sunlight.
Video capture is much better on Oppo. In photos pixel is more consistent (pixel) quality but Oppo is very good honestly.
Oppo is a clear winner in my opinion. It's a way better phone in all other aspects too. I'm just sick and tired of greyish tint on Pixel photos which makes people look like zombies.

Am a Pixel Dan but. Oppo looks great with artificial lighting ( night shots especially video ) whereas Pixel looks great with Natural Light ( day shots both photos and videos )
I think overall the Pixel is the winner. To my eyes it feels like the colors are more punchy, and Google's image processing also seems to understand the scene better resulting in a more balanced look.
Things always look cooler on pixel and like winter ❄️
On balance, I think the Pixel wins in most scenarios. The difference in colour science is quite apparent. I'm quite impressed that the Pixel can hold its own against the Find X7 Ultra

What a review from the Google Pixel 8 Pro to the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, neither a one-inch sensor nor stories, what matters is the post processing, and in that Google has no rival, better HDR, better contrast, better color, better in everything. And you have taken the photos automatically, if you use the maximum resolution of all the sensors at 50, 48 and 48 MPX with UltraHDR, which has a more natural processing and much, much, much more detail it literally destroys it, and no Let's talk about Video Boost, especially in low light conditions (I don't understand the insistence of all TH-camrs on not using this powerful resource), it destroys it both day and night. Google has shown that a one-inch sensor is not necessary, I don't even want to think about the results that Google can achieve if it had one, although I repeat, I don't understand why no TH-camr uses UIltraHDR or Video Boost, resources that make the Pixel better than which is without them.
Except the selfir camera shots( that is quite shitty on all chinese phones), oppo mostly took better pictures that pixel
@@misterbopan7648 False, because install a GCam apk for Pixel, with HDR+, and it is much better on the Pixel, I have it and always use HDR+, and it is on par with Samsung, iPhone and Huawei in selfie camera

Is crazy to me how good the Pixel is with a weaker processor! Google continues to impress in computational photography and has even surpassed in the video department. The dynamic range and colors are better on the Pixel as well.
Pixel has smoother video stabilization. However X7 has done well to come that close.
Were all the pictures taken in auto mode?

Lowlight video is much better on the Oppo and lowlight photos are also better on the Oppo in terms of clarity. Apart from that it's difficult to notice much difference in quality. Mostly colour and contrast difference differences with Oppo providing higher contrast. I prefer flatter images so prefer the daytime pics from the Pixel. No comment on the selfie cam cos I don't care about it
The 3x porteait lens on the oppo x7 ultra is legendary. Too bad you didnt usebit

The pixel is usually darker but clearer but sometimes very dark than necessary. It does not brighten up photos in early morning and late afternoon or cloudy weather conditions. That's where Samsung comes in to fill the gaps. It works perfectly in all lighting conditions

I have tested the X7 Ultra, and sold it after 3 weeks, Very disappointed by the quality of photos.
The X6 Pro was much better. As said by many people on internet, it seems by Oppo has difficulties to master this new sensor. Photos are blurred often.
Yhe Pixel 8 Pro is better in 99% of the photos.
The only good point for the X7 Ultra is some videos by night. That's all
Honestly I thought there was gonna be massive different and leaned toward to Oppo bit, but they turned out to be not much different, maybe the ultrawide video is a bit less noise on Oppo, but the first clip on the mountain on Pixel was STUNNING!!!

The pixel processing works against it, it takes photographs that at first glance are impressive especially if you don't know anything about photography, but when you start to see the details it has an HDR effect that makes the photos look very over-processed and artificial, it lifts a lot the shadows, in addition to having a horrible digital sharpness, oppo is much more realistic respecting the shadows and in video not to mention, the active HDR that the pixel has makes it control very well situations where there are many lights and shadows but being so aggressive it causes Because the video loses a lot of detail and causes chromatic aberration, Oppo does not have the need to process so much, for the simple fact that its hardware is much superior.
