Certain transfers were made in the past year or so which left both the clubs and their fans having high expectations, but so far, those players have failed to live up to those expectations. Basically, in football terms, they have flopped.

Lingard is spot on, he's overpaid and underplayed and isn't really an asset to Forest

@@srykextraodinairecreation9962 there are numerous different factors that could probably explain why richarlison does very well for brasil and not for tottenham. personally, i dont think its a skill issue on his behalf since there are a lot of awesome players who simply play better for nationals than club, but richarlison is very clearly environmentally dependent, he might just have better chemistry with the brasil team than he does for spurs.

It is a flop when you put into consideration that he could have rejected some money, go back to West Ham were he had great momentum hence less pressure and probably perform a lot better

Lingard made a mistake in rejecting West Ham United.
He was loved by the supporters at WHUFC after his earlier loan spell but I fear he may have cocked that up with his decision to join the East Midlands club.

To be fair Tammy Abraham did well in his debut season. Lampard was so obsessed with Werner in second season which make Tammy lost his place. So I guess the cursed skip him
Everton doesn't really seem to have been the right move for either Maupay or Alli.
I expect to see both Alli & Maupay at EFL Championship clubs next season.

If conte wasn’t hung up on the 3-4-3, I thing Tottenham could flourish in a 4-4-2 with richarlison and lane up front, moving son and kulu to LM and RM and still let them play goal to goal. Richarlison has potential, and they aren’t scoring goals. What could it hurt?

Nunez played as soon as he landed and scored 12 goals so far, and his team can't wait to have him back. Maybe we need definition of the term flop
