oh my gosh i feel silly, the guy at the end was Chris Webby 🤦♀️ This video was released early on my Patreon! Thank you to all of my Patreon members! ❤🌸patreon.com/flowersafterrainfall
They went to Purgatory Pub which is the halfway place between alive and death. Everyone has injuries due to their baggage that we all carry around with us.
Great video. Unexpected and dense imagery, so a lot to take in on first watch, especially when trying to catch lyrics as well. Had barely heard any Webby before this and was surprised it was a song instead of a rap. Song is smooth and catchy, love what Ren did with his verse and his high vocals.
I had never heard of Chris Webby before but I loved the song and especially the video concept with everyone being in purgatory, waiting to see where they go. Happy Ren survives! That part when Ren appears, everyone always smiles. His part is fantastic. 🖤
At 4:07 The bald Cat staring at the clock waiting on 4:20 ... get it... 4.20, April 20th!?!? Then Rens verse about pot... yeah, nah... not a coincidence!
The clue to all the imagery and theme for this video lie in the shots of "Purgatory Pub" at beginning and end of the video. The definition/history of purgatory is that when one dies, some souls enter purgatory, a place of suffering but also a place of mercy. With it, God has created a process for good but not-quite-perfect souls to undergo a few repairs before entering his presence. During the video you see images of some unlikely alliances, e.g. an alleged KKK member playing pool with a person of color and so on. You see a man entering purgatory through the doorway with bright light behind it, another man exiting. Ren's character has entered purgatory pub along with Chris Webby, however in the final scenes with the car accident, Ren is resuscitated back to life and leaves purgatory, leaving Chris Webby sitting at that seat without Ren. That is my take on it.

The bar is purgatory, some make it out into the light some stay. The imagery of it is perfect.
Great song and video.
i'm surprised i didn't realize during my first reaction. when i watched it a second time off camera it made more sense to me lol
@@flowersafterrainfallI didn’t catch the meaning my first watch until a reactor pointed it out!

I love this video. It's so well done
Love your reactions and your intros. ❤❤ Think your spot on about everyone has their own type of baggage.
Definitely worth going down the Webby rabbit hole, the catalog is very deep, but I'd recommend Whistle Outside the Box or Running in Circles to start
This has been a regular on my playlist since it was released
I love the music the video, lyrics singing and acting
Oh and the concept

If you were paying attention at the beginning, you would have seen the name of the bar. That is the context you're missing.
it was also at the end
