21:16 The problem is not phasing on MultEQ-X. It's the limitation on delay control to the sub. When it's 20ms Audyssey can't get phases right and Dirac win the game. Dirac has 50ms to play with. I have been shouting about this already over a year and nobody seems to be listening at Masimo.
Great interview thank you! Phil Jones is always a good at explaining the features and translating them into benefits for the consumer. In addition he is so jacked, it must be a requirement for anyone who has to lift all the receivers, amplifiers, and speakers.
Thx for watching, yes i love speaking with people and talking about things like brand philosophy or just Q&A, hope to bring more guests in the future✌🏽
The problem with DIRAC is the super high price. They took a simple software, broke it down to separate pieces and sell it for 700$ for one unit. Sorry DIRAC, I'm not ready to pay 700$ to experiment with a software that has very limited use and that I'm not sure that the results will be better than than of the free Audyssey.
Is not cheap i know, but there is no question on the results, is a next level specially for those having an High End Home Theater. Out there Audysey is probably the better free solution available at the moment, far superior to other calibrations like YPAO for example!
@@MadAudiofficial It might be true, but there is no really way to know what the results will be in my room, and if I like the results better than Audyssey. There is no trial or regret period. If you don't like the results, that's 700$ flush down the drain.

Does Dirac have 50 ms delay on a Denon receiver? Or only on other devices?
@@hdmoviesource yes it does

Thx for the infos, new Denon turntable is something that I really would like to review!
So in 13m2 room , which make better results ??????
Phil is a good guy
Was a pleasure talking with👍🏽
Thats odd about the pricing, when i got my old av amps from a few years back the Denon flagship was always more expensive then the Marantz flagship
Actually in Europe they cut a lot the retail price, I don’t know in US, for example I paid my Cinema 40 2600€ and now you can find if for 2000€!
'm French and I don't understand everything 100%, can someone summarize in 2 lines the differences between Dirac / Audissey please?

@@jyfjgtyuh yes I definitely understand, they had a 30% discount for a while, maybe will come back!
It’s too bad the Denon have measured better on the bench for years….
But is also good that Marantz now are measuring great or?
