    Val Thorens is an amazing resort with most of the hotels and apartments being ski-in-ski-out. Thoroughly recommend the Hotel Marielle, probably one of the best run hotels I have ever encountered with all staff being super friendly and helpful and never being caught off-guard at a bad time, it's boot room is right on the beginner slopes and metres from the kids club and lesson meeting points. VERY handy!

    GREAT video. Heading here with a large group this weekend! I'm even more excited (and less stressed) after watching!
    Thanks for producing and sharing.

      Hi, and since you offered (LOL): Do you think it's worth the extra money to rent (hire) skis from the Club? All other stores off the resort property seem to be much less money when reserving ahead. And i'm not sure if you took lessons, but can we book when we arrive? I can't seem to reserve/book anything ahead of time at the ClubMed website. (I'm on a group trip not solo)

      @@marcirubin8997 skis yes, I would say for ease, it’s worth it, it saves probably 2 hours of hassle as you can get get them from and leave them in your locker. Plus if you want to change your boots, you can do it in the ski room, rather than having to hike up to the rental shop.
      Lessons wise, yes, on the day you arrive, they put on a big event in the bar and you can sign up there 👍 or they have a desk near reception

    Great review. We’re heading there in four weeks time from 🇦🇺. Looks amazing. It will be our first time doing the all inclusive Club Med thing too.

    Good video. We were there mid Jan from NZ and was exactly like you showed. Really happy and the guiding was excellent.
    Was about 2000 pounds each for 2 of us including trfs, from Geneva though.

    How much the vacation cost you?

    • @findyourstay
      @findyourstay  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      All in it cost £2,050 for the week, but that included private transfer (usually 250..?), lift pass (around 500) and unlimited food and drink obviously. Plus lessons everyday and a great hotel. Having skied for many years, although expensive, this is very good value for what you get, and the ease of the trip. Plus I was solo, so I think if you have two in the room it’s more like 2800 but between two that’s even better value.

    • @roeedotan1860
      @roeedotan1860 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@findyourstay the lowest price I could get is 2500€, how did you get this price? Maybe you ordered long enough time before the vacation?

    • @findyourstay
      @findyourstay  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@roeedotan1860 quite the contrary actually, I ordered quite late. This was early December, that might be the reason. Also! FYI I saw they’re having a sale soon, 27th-29th march apparently! Will be cheaper to book then. They’ve probably increased their prices before this sale

    • @roeedotan1860

    • @findyourstay

      @@roeedotan1860 good question… unfortunately they don’t seem to say. I would suggest calling them to see if they have any last minute deals if you need something this year. They sometimes have last minute coupons, if i find one I’ll let you know 👍

    • @findyourstay

      No, all are welcome! Although be aware there’s no kids club, and the ski lessons are only for 12+…
