Weekend mornings would be best for me, but I could easily make it a point to join in anytime on the weekend. Also, a huge thank you for including consideration for the guys in this tutorial series!
Hello from Australia. I look forward to, and enjoy watching your You Tube Videos. I find them informative and always come away learning something new. So much useful and interesting information today. Thank you. - Your explanation regarding wraps per inch and why different sized needles can result in same stitch gauge but a different row gauge, is something I had never considered nor heard anyone explain before. - When knitting from cakes, I place them in a zip lock bag. I feed the yarn from the centre and through a 1.5cm / 1/2” opening of the otherwise zipped bag. This prevents the yarn unravelling from the outside. - Thank you, thank you, thank you for the tip on identifying the metric needle size used in swatches. I’ve been wondering about this for some time but hadn’t come up with a solution. I have purchased the KAL pattern but it may be some time before I can commit to the project. I’m grateful I’ll be able to access the You Tube videos relating to the KAL when I’m ready, and confident any questions I may have will be answered there or in your Ravelry group.
Thank you so much for doing this series! I can’t do the sweater right now because of other projects I need to finish, but I am watching the videos and will come back to it later. Every time I watch your videos I learn something. I hope the videos will stay available on your channel. What a great resource - I appreciate your generous work!
I‘m looking forward to all the videos and information to come! 😀 Your teaching style and way of explaning things is great. As I‘m living in Europe I can only watch the live streaming if it is done in your morning time. But since we can watch everything later as well I don‘t mind the time.
Hi Suzanne, please remember some of us are from outside the US. I was there for the first one and I’m from the UK and I remember I got notification as I was getting home from work. This was at 3.24 am and I missed it. Watching now.
While I would enjoy participating in the live stream, I'm happy to watch later on TH-cam. My reality is that no matter what time you choose, my husband will likely walk in to the room and ask for my help with something. By watching the replay, I can choose a time when I know I won't be interrupted! I'm working on my gauge swatch now using Wool-Ease from my stash and size 6 needles. I think I need to watch your video on tension next. Thanks for providing this knit-along!
I missed the live broadcast, so I'm watching now. Live didn't have captions, and like you, I'm profoundly hard of hearing. I have 1 cochlear implant. AWESOME that your Daughter helps you "hear". My Daughter does, as well, but she's losing her hearing, too. I'm glad I signed up with you. God Bless.
Hi Suzanne. As I live in Germany, I will follow you offline - got the notification for this yesterday 04:29 am my time 😴😉 - but it's ok with me. Though it was so fun watching the first part live! Neven done this before. Just waiting for the book and yarn to arrive... In the meantime I'm reading comments on the Ravelry group - so many followers/members! Wow 😁
Thank you. I wish I could get everybody on line in their time zone, but it is impossible. But I will switch it around sometimes. Thank you so much for commenting. Hugs and Happy Knitting.
!THANK you, dear Suzanne! You are awesome! This will be so exciting. It already is 😃And you and your daughter are a great team 💕 Did you ever expect so many participants? Happy knitting.
To tell you the truth, I am flabbergasted. But I am ready. I have taught this same cardigan live two times, in the same manner, so I am ready and not feeling overwhelmed (yet). I am actually very excited and looking forward to everyone's creations. The sky is the limit.
Sorry I missed this live! Hi, Suzanne! I don't know about others, but I would love to hear more about how needle size affects row gauge. That intrigues me.
Sue M yes same here! I believe you are above me and I think I know where. Since I am so close to Kentucky there are a lot of blue bloods though!! Nice to hear from you, I always like to reach out to follow knitters and if they live in the same state even better. How advanced of a knitter are you, have you knit a sweater before? I am going to join this sweater Kal, I was always afraid to because it would not fit.
Thank you so much for doing this KAL💕💕💕. Are all of the videos going to be open to the public even if you haven't purchased the pattern? I missed the 50% off day since my daughter was having emergency cataract surgery (I know that that seems crazy BUT it's a long story) but I would love to follow along.
Saturday morning no earlier than 8:00 Pacific or Sunday evening is fine for me. Or pretty much any time on the weekend. I missed the live stream because I got my time differences wrong! Duh!
I am still experimenting with different times. I am going to try to do Sunday morning this weekend, but will be in an area with weak internet, so it may be iffy. Hugs and Happy knitting.
Hi Doreen, I believe you are referring to the twist of the yarn. I use my fingers to untwist the yarn a bit to see exactly how it is twisted together, because it is hard to ID the twist in some yarns just by looking.
I may be the only one living in a country where paypal can’t be used and I was told Ravelry will not accept credit card payments. So I can never buy any of the beautiful patterns I find on Ravelry unless they are available on some other website. 🙁 I am not very hopeful but wanted to check if there is any other way I could get the pattern and all the other written materials.
Over on Ravelry - I am knittingsuzanne - send me your email address in a private message and we can continue talking over there. Hugs and Happy knitting.

I am thinking that Saturday morning Pacific time will be good for the next one.

I'm in Florida and I knew I could watch this later so I went to bed!! Sunday night is great. 9:30 est here would be great.
That is very doable. Thanks for watching. Happy knitting and hugs.
yes, it's working. Hi from North Carolina!!
Wonderful. Hugs and Happy Knitting.
I'm looking forward to the baby steps. Taking it one step at a time works for me. It will be my first sweater.
Wonderful! I am so excited to see everyone's creations. Happy knitting!

Ah, very cool, I can do an example and maybe a whole video on this topic. Thanks Scott. Hugs and Happy knitting.
I‘m out from this KAL but I’d love to participate in next time! 🙂 Happy knitting and salute from Germany 😁
It is never too late to start. There is no time limit. But if you can't, that is OK too. There will be more to come. Happy knitting and hugs.
What ever is good for you is good for me. I am flexable. I have a wonderful daughter named Sarah also! Thanks again from Southern Indiana.

Thank you! Hugs and Happy knitting.
OMG you are so talented. Thank you so much for sharing 😊
Thank you! Hugs and Happy knitting.
Thank you so much for doing this KAL💕💕💕.

All of the videos will be public. the written pattern will go to only the purchasers. Thanks for watching. Happy knitting and hugs.
Saturday morning would be good for me, or 6:00 PT in the evening. Thanks
I think Saturday might be a good time to try. In the morning.
Oh, and thanks for watching. Happy knitting.
These times also work best for me, though I'm happy watching and leaving comments after the livestream 😊
Hello from New Zealand
Hello from California. I would love to visit New Zealand sometime. I hear it is lovely. Hugs and Happy Knitting!
Saturday morning no earlier than 8:00 Pacific or Sunday evening is fine for me. Or pretty much any time on the weekend. I missed the live stream because I got my time differences wrong! Duh!
I am working on it. Thanks. Hugs and Happy Knitting.
Saturday morning good time
The evening at 6:00 Pacific time is the next one, then we will get on a more standard time. I was out of town all weekend. Hugs and Happy Knitting!
What is your schedule for these live c;hats? I always seem to miss them.
I am still experimenting with different times. I am going to try to do Sunday morning this weekend, but will be in an area with weak internet, so it may be iffy. Hugs and Happy knitting.
QUESTION: How do we determine a tightly wound yarn?
Hi Doreen, I believe you are referring to the twist of the yarn. I use my fingers to untwist the yarn a bit to see exactly how it is twisted together, because it is hard to ID the twist in some yarns just by looking.
@@SuzanneBryan thank you so much for helping me with that.
Great job Suzanne, you look so cute.
