In WWE, Mick never got to be more than the guy elevating the new guys, Edge was only the goated heel for the short term title runs, and to this day we don't know if they actually see that Cody could easily be the face of the company. But those guys embody pro wrestling

I was at an untelevised event in upstate NY, Legacy vs DX. In the middle of the match, Shawn Michaels straight up pantsed Ted DiBiase Jr in front of the entire crowd. Randy Orton was trying so hard not to laugh.
Ironically “I’ve always fucking wanted you” is what Vince said to Shawn.

Ted Dibiase Jr really did have the IT look.
Something just didn’t click with him.
I’m sure that he’s much happier in life now though.
From what I can tell he just never had the wrestling bug, that need to get out there and perform. He's second generation but I guess his heart was never as into wrestling as everyone would assume it to be. Good for him though, from hearing Cody's stories about him he seems like a terrific guy, just doesn't want to be a wrestler like his dad is all.
Sorry to be that guy, but Ted Jr got caught up in a religious nonprofit scam that he later plead guilty to and currently owes the state of Mississipi $3.9 million. His brother owes ~220k and the nonprofit their father created was ordered to repay ~$720k. The department of justice is trying to seize Ted Jr's home at a $1.5 million evaluation as part of the process claiming that it was purchased with nonprofit funds.
They messed up by trying to make him his Dad! Never remind the audience of something better when you’re trying get something New over!

Honestly I can see where Shawn and Sting are his favorite in ring performer guys and, as he said, HHH is more a role model of one can accomplish career wise. Then again, a lot of people have a few favorite at the same time.

All Cody had to say was, “no homo” or “pause”.
To all the commrnts about his favorite changing, It verywell could have. As a outside spectator HBK was his favorite. Then when he started working it could easily shift.
Growing up Sting WAS MY GUY, he still is, and may be the wrestler i would still go weird if i ever met (see Tallahassee meets Bill Murray).
But as i understood the psychology. i started to realize it was the Horsemen and Rick Rude.
