I'm a Computer science student, and your videos strike me as really understandable, concise and at a good pace. You also have a really pleasant voice. Keep up the work, educating the masses via TH-cam! Love what educators like Khan Academy, MOOCs and you are doing

I have just gone over all the VBA videos that I have watched. Amazingly, I find myself familiar with most everything I saw. Is possible because I have watched your videos on VBA & User forms DOZENS of times. You are by far the best VBA Teacherin this You Tub Community. I am 73 years old, and have been watching your videos for a couple of yrs now. You can teach an Old Dog new tricks. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Well done. (long live the Cichlids)

Very good video!! Been doing vba for few weeks. Most courses assume we understand navigation when we often don’t. This video is the best way to start a course!!

You are a great VBA teacher. Impressive!!!! I feel confident that after watching all your VBA videos I should be able to move from recording macros to 'writing' macros. I've been intimidated by trying to write one. Thanks for taking time to put these videos together. Extremely helpful.

I'm not hating at all (please no flaming), but its sooooo freshing to hear an English accent on a programming tutorial video. I'm currently using TH-cam to learn VB.NET, SQL, ASP.NET and a range of others and all the videos I have watched they have been American/Indian. I have no problem with that at all but its good to see the UK has some programming skills! Great tutorial, really easy to follow and I learnt a lot. Time to watch the rest of your videos :D

Andrew, Thanks for this. I have just retired. I am a competent Excel User, but thought for my first retirement goal, I would upgrade myself to a Master User. I've looked around for courses, but can't find anything locally. I wondered if I could self educate through TH-cam. Your video (plus one other that I just reviewed) convinces me that this is not only possible, but probably the best way. I think your comment that video training might be superior to class room training might be profoundly right. The absolute best way to learn is with a personal tutor or full time mentor. But a well done group of videos could well be the second best way. I must go now to see how much of what I just watched I can reproduce on my own. When I get stuck I will just go back to the video to resolve what I have not absorbed yet. Thanks again. Bill

    Hi Andrew,
I have told many people about your videos and how good they are. Today, I did some searching on the web and found out that you have a book on Excel VBA programming. I've ordered your book from lulu.com. I look forward to the book as well as watching more of your videos. By the way , I have been doing Excel VBA programming for quite a few years and consider myself fairly knowledgeable in this area. Even with all this so-called knowledge, I still find your videos extremely useful. Thanks again for these wonderful tutorials.

Hi Andrew, i checked tons of tutors and up to now you're the best vba tutor ever seen, well explained, and easy to understand the details Thank you so much and god bless you for sharing your knowledge .. - BTW : About your name in the code, If the first sheet was deleted, then after you run the code a few times and your name appear, then from where the Environ("username") Take your name??,(after sheet deletion your name was recorded inside Environ or remained in memory?) some other student ask you the same and you answer was : "My name is generated by the Environ function. So, the line which reads: Range("B1").Value = Environ("UserName") places the current user name into cell B1." , - But supposedly the B1 of all the sheet are empty until code is clicked, Please andrew don't get mad, i'm just curious ..
    Best regards
    Andy

They just get better. So many You-tube video producers "wing it"; don't prepare, stumble around, constantly backtrack to correct typo's etc. Your videos are clean, well thought out, and direct. I've just finished watching Part 4; I was surprised by how long it was and by how much information it provided on the many options that are available. I wish I was in the UK, so I could take some of your courses!
