I challenge anyone to tell me that they didn't go: "Oh man! He's hot now. We might be in trouble now." As a very straight man, I thought that. And I have yet to run into anyone who thought otherwise.
to be honest, i didn't find him hot on the 2nd phase. i'm gay, but i really prefer more rough-looking guys than the 'supermodel' type. i got what they were going for, the whole perfection and angelic appeal, but it just wasn't hot to me. it seemed to be more vauthry's idealized self-image of perfection, in my opinion. long story short, he's not my type
I don't believe we're necessarily the bad guy here, personally. I argue we're undoing a mistake Ardbert and his friends made years ago, one that had ramifications neither he nor his crew could have ever forseen. I see our actions in Shadowbringers as more of us doing the same from a different direction, if that makes any sense.
it's all a matter of perspective tbh. in some eyes yes we are and i think heavensward touched on that very good that while what we think is best and good overall it doesn't change the fact to some what we changed their entire way of life and sometimes not in a good way. the church is a prime example. We literally shattered their whole belief they've known their entire lives and devoted themselves to for comfort and safety. Even if what we did was for the better overall some will still see what we did as evil or selfish. Same goes for the first. always remember not everyone was under Vulthry's influence and truly believed in what he said and saw the sin eater's as divine judgement. So to them yes we were villains even if what we did saved them.
My first time fighting him when I saw him walking down the stairs, I typed in the chat, "he has LEGS!?"
39:30 goes so well with the phase transition.
"The path that we walk
Is lost in the flood
Here proud angels bathe in
Their wages of blood
At this, the world's end,
do we cast out tomorrow"
So that's his weight loss plan! Risky but managable.

It’s the the literal embodiment of the “OH NO HE’S HOT!” Meme.
he seems like a "complete" form of SMT's VIctor.
I'm a gay man and he was definitely very hot when I first fought him

I didn't say that. And I'm bi. He looked like an exaggerated painting of a European in the Renaissance Era.

Still best trial in the whole game. Hottest boss ever also. 🌸💕
...are we the bad guys?
No, we aren't. *Make no mistake, **_that_** will never be in any doubt.*
@Majillion Hellsing reference! I think.

@@TheKizz20 honestly, sometimes I wish I could side with the opposition
The Japanese name of Shadowbringers is "Shikkoku no Viranzu", or "Jet Black Villains". So yes, we are the bad guys. It's in the name.
