You know, when I imagined what the bgm for the Moon to be in FFXIV, I was expecting a call back to FFIV, being on the moon and all. I was NOT expecting one of the most emotionally charged vaporwave tracks I have ever heard in my life. it gives me goosebumps.

@@Twocoolman115 it was a nice surprise, though I don’t think anything will ever top The Mushroomery, in terms of musical callbacks. I was so overwhelmed when I entered Matoya’s Cave in HW. I loved FF1 as a child.
