@@LM1331 That's a smart idea! I'm just worried about leaks. Is it even possible to aim the output of the compressor in a different direction without leaks?
@@victorsvidss could also do a quick disconnect system, which you can detach the horn in favor for pumping up tires. Hardware stores sell a kit that include the flexible hose, attachments, and quick disconnects.
@@victorsvidss I have battled with leaks ever since I installed the train horn. oddly enough all of my leaks were on the compressor/horn side and not the aux air port. Def use teflon tape and soapy water to test for leaks. Currently i have a small leak so the compressor kicks once in a while, but only when the ignition is on. It always kicks on in the morning to rebuild the pressure. I think air leaks are acceptable, because every the big rigs with air brakes have to idle their engines in the mornings to build up air pressure.
Add the t to the compressor so you can pump up tires too :).
