  • In this crazy adventure, right before big storm eowyn I almost get capsized while catching my very first fish of 2025 at the notorious Torness Nuclear Power Plant in Scotland! 🐟💥 The weather was rough, the waves were high, and just when I thought things couldn’t get more intense, a big catch almost turned into a disaster. But, in the end, I landed that fish and survived to tell the tale. Join me for this wild ride full of thrills, spills, and a monster catch! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the bell so you don't miss out on more epic fishing trips this year!

I’ve been in that exact situation before! Fair play for sharing, Alex. Thanks and look forward to seeing you out on the water as the days lengthen

there's a great launch to the north of torness PS in the bay. free slipway onto the beach with parking at the top of it. now they've shut off the parking at torness, it might be easier for you to park there and kayak over to the outflow.

You’re talking about Skateraw I presume. It has a high roof barrier I can’t get the van in. I was meaning to message you about a project in the summer are you in insta?

OK, so you had a bit of fun creel fishing, you just can't land the dam things, been there and done it myself on my old 10ft kayak and I more more than likey do it on my new 14ft when I release it from the garage roof and get back out from April on. Got a tip for you of what I do, get a small "clet" of some type on the side of your kayak, so if your hook / weight / line gets caught, you loosen the line from the reel, hold the line in one and store your rod back into the rod holder or what ever, then pull in the slack line, tie the line "quikly" on the clet and paddle back wards untill the line breaks. "You have to watch the line" It is some thing you will have to sit at home (in your kayak) and work out what you have to do. I do like your videos BTW, I am from the E coast of NI....

Thanks buddy. That’s not a bad idea. Normally I. Can just break them off. But those conditions were pretty gnarly. Thanks for watching.
