I think Tios “friend” killed off most of the humans except a few survivors which is why there’s not many humans, and that’s how he showed the world that he wasn’t happy. I don’t know who started the infection, but I think that tio died a long time ago, like -1300s - 1400s, maybe mr stitchy or whoever friend was trapped somewhere or banished but then somehow managed to sicken Mrs. P, while Mr P mind was weak, he snuck in, talked to him, and then guided him through making the potions, which than started the infection. I’ve gotten most of my ideas from gravity falls and the owl house, but minitoon has seen and loves gravity falls, so I think that he is taking inspiration from it.
