I am an agent, i see lots of explanations of gas free and never understood, and with your inerting & purging + this video, I fully understood. thanks guy. you are awesome.
Thankyou ❤️
Any doubts you are free to comment !
Splendid sir thank you for making a great effort explaining flammability diagram! :D
@@johnmarkmanuelmagalona1984 thanks, also watch part 2 which has some more knowledge
Very nice explanation
Really Very Helpful. Thankyou So much Sir.
Welcome bro, do share 🔥

Great video thank you!
👍
Very nice, Thanks
Great help brother
thanks
Well taught 👏
Thanks bro ..do watch part 2 of same...it's additional information for same topic
Thank you so much
Welcome 🤗
Thanks brother
Thanks ❤️
Very good explanation
Thanks ❤️
Thnks brother
Also watch part 2 of video, some things I missed...link in description
good job bro
Thanks bro...do watch part 2 as I have cleared few more concepts in it ❤️
Hey the video is good, but I'd like to make a correction about the definition of UFL... HC above which fuel is too rich therefore no combustion...
Please correct it.
Thank you.
Good day, no correction needed , it's correct.
Too rich HC concentration means for combustion you need more oxygen, thus here oxygen conc. ( Air) is less and HC conc. Is high ...I hope u get my point ❤️
Different books , different definition but the core concept remains same !

Flammable digram we must draw it or it comes with every cargo like a cargo manafest?
The range of lel and uel is different for every cargo...you will find that in msds of that cargo....generic ranges have been provided in tanker safety guide for reference purpose !
do u hv any portal of notes i need tanker n safety notes please?

What is slant line CB represent?
It is a line representing atmosphere of tank in which we are increasing HC content and decreasing O2 content
Time 3.01 ...see it's explained ❤️
Please explain, what Decides the slope of the Line AB.? And what determines the location of all the marked points, like Point F, Point E etc..?
3.01 time ...explained why line AB is slop
Point F is just a point having concentration of gas representing the tanks atmosphere, point E is assumed to be where flammable range starts
sir how to determine flammable mixture for petroleum which have different LFL,UFL for preparing tanks for inerting & gas freeing operations
Different petroleum liquids have different flammable range and they are mentioned in the cargo msds...
Video Books - Sailor Vikas ok thanks so i can say no matter what petroleum’s we have to bring it HC below LEL by knowing it’s LEL from MSDS then introduce fresh air for gas freeing tanks
Correct
Plz tell me what is the purpose of flammability diagram ?
With the help of this you can identify whether your tanks atmosphere is flammable or not....it's should never be in flammable range.

Hey Sir. Is Flammability diagram same for all Gases? And if No, is there any Diagram available for Each gaese?
Nope, its different for different petroleum liquids and gases, just to understand in simple manner, everywhere u will see LEL 2% AND UEL 10%
@@SailorVikas Okay Sir. So just the LEL and UEL limits (Flammable Range) would change, Rest of the Diagram would be same right?
If you change the LEL and UEL, the whole shape of flammable range changes thus It will change but slightly, for more understanding you can refer to last pages of Tanker Safety guide where their are plenty of flammable diagrams for various liquids and gases.
I think you are over explaining drifting away from the actualy thing.
1. First introduce I.G or N2 and bring the H.C level below critical dilution where the atmosphere is belo LEL.
2. Now the air can be introduced without risk since the H.C inside the tank is less than 1% and below LEL and there is no chance of combustion until the O2 inside the tank is 21% and tank is ready for entry.
May be you have done tanker so for you it's a over explanation but I have made this video for cadets who have never seen tanker in their entire cadetship, for them this knowledge is essential.
@@SailorVikas you got a point👍
sailor vikas , your explanation is not proper , you have left many important point.
Thanks
