- Tanjong Malim, is approximately 70 km north of Kuala Lumpur and 120 km south of Ipoh via the North-South Expressway. It lies on the Perak-Selangor state border, with Sungai Bernam serving as the natural divider.
At the last part, there is a portion about another small town Hulu Bernam that is located in Selangor, just divided from Tanjong Malim, Perak by a bridge.
Captured using iPhone 11 (the opening shot) and Panasonic Lumix S1 in V-log in November.
Color graded to own taste using a film emulation powergrade as base.

Tanjong Malim dah banyak berubah juga. Tetapi ada juga building lama juga kelihatan. Tanjong Malim bukan sleepy town sangat. Sebelah pagi nampak agak sibuk. Tapi sebelah petang Dan mlm, org yg keluar kurang, jadi mlm sunyi kecuali sabtu, ada pasar mlm. Ada banyak student upsi yang datang dari jauh seperti sabah, sarawak, china pun ada. Pekerja pekerja kilang proton pun ada keluar beli barang keperluan juga. Pada hujung minggu, ada motorbike cc Besar pun ada singgah utk breakfast. Di sini ada banyak tempat tempat makan. Ada KFC, macdonald, family Mart, Starbucks, Zeus coffee, 99 Mart, Mr DIY, econsave, Segi, chatime dan paling banyak 7 eleven, tak silap saya ada 7 kedai 7 eleven. Ada juga cafe cafe utk org relax, minum kopi Dan nikmati kek. Bagi saya tanjong Malim ada lah tempat sesuai utk pencen.
Terima kasih atas penjelasan anda. Biasa kami akan melawat pekan lama dan tempat bersejarah, kerana pekan baru kami kurang minat, that's why series ini namanya old towns.

Dah bukan pekan kecil sekarang, harga rumah , makan semua mahal. In the next few years akan jadi lebih teruk

Because many people now use the PLUS highway, they miss all the smaller towns and the wonderful places along the federal roads
Exactly! Sometimes we just need to slow down a little to have a better experience and feel the surroundings of the small towns rather than visit a place like a tourist.

that is why, sometimes, if not in a hurry, i still prefer to use the old trunk road.
Mainly Cantonese speaking local folks there,my wife and family are staying there.

Ada lah pelajar pelajar upsi dari sabah, sarawak, china pun ada. Kedai kedai makan pun dah banyak. Bukan lah sleepy town sangat tapi kadang Kadang pun nampak tak banyak org. Ada lagi kilang proton disana. KFC ada dua, macdonald satu, family Mart satu, Watson ada, guardian ada, Starbucks ada, Zeus coffee ada, Kopi Saigon, teatime, 99 Mart lebih 3, Mr DIY ada dua Dan paling banyak 7 eleven.

Less development less traffic, that's normal for Asian countries. Whereas some modern European country always encourage using bicycle for daily commute. Maybe it's due to weather and awareness

@@10cFILM ahh I see,actually slim river area is not that big. They moved to kl and I born in kl as well:) although not a kampung girl but have a soft spot on this small village as they are my parents place to grow, has been a year never bck to there since my grandparents passed away.
