Just a little tip to help you out with the hard water, put 2 swimming pool filters for a garden hose made for filling a pool with water. Us mobile detailers use them all the time. WAY WAY less water spots when I have to detail cars in the sun. Just a tip.
When done correctly. a ceramic coat (while $$$) will save you a GANG of work keeping the car clean, espec if you garage your cars. I had mine done ~4y ago and today all I do is rinse her off. Done.
