I have been getting in to maple (again) thanks to your videos. I was just wondering if you had any guides specifically for the bosses? Like the mechanics and ect for each boss.
I always gotta shill for my man Aran. An absolute monster for such a low skill requirement, also has an and a bind at 5th job that does ludicrous amounts of damage. With similar gear and similar levels my Aran easily outperforms my Hayato at the 4 doors bosses, just so sick.
i recommend shadower as a bosser
high % dmg skills, nice burst with newer 5th skills , i frames, Dark sight etc etc and a 8 sec cd i frame that lasts 1 second and can be used across the map and teleport behind a boss or monster
Kain's Death Blessing is one of the most op bossing skills I've ever seen. Dealing an additional 10 lines per stack on triggered. And it comes with a buff. To that knowledge, his 5th job skill Fatal Blitz is absolute bonker not because of the damage itself but the amount of Death Blessings it activates (which is 14).
You are correct. Dragon burst has higher raw damage value, but you do way more dmg during fatal blitz due to the death’s blessing procs.
DA the cheapest bossing class to fund %hp stuff are the cheapest you get so many sources of %hp from equipment, set effects, 50% hp from Ephenia's Soul 40% from decent hyper body. A beginner friendly class for sure.
Hey Coppertube, n00bsan here with a video suggestion. In the third tab of the maple guide there are lots of activities. Some are good like monster park and others are super dead content. You should make a video explaining which activities and systems are dead. I've got like 90 billion google searches "Maplestory professions good?" "Stellar Detectives worth it?" "Maplestory monster collection rewards" "maplestory evolution system" "maplestory ursus queue 20+ minutes????"

Hoyoung is in the top 3 classes for burst and flexibility, for sure. The quantity of lines that you get during your burst is INSANE, your mobility is also insane, and it has one of the best invincibility skills in the game (you can cancel it earlier to reduce it's cooldown).
Become literal art to flex on a boss and every mechanic it throws at you.

There is also Wind Archer:
Pros: easy bossing, dash, puppet that works with familiars, and a shield with 50% uptime.
Cons: no burst and low dmg.
Agreed! After bossing with WA I want to try out a class with more heavy burst. Might go for a night lord or night walker!
Isn't tornado vortex sphere Cygnus charge all burst? How is it low damage with bow expert and albatross elite?
@@CognitoTanKhaiiHuitkh9917 other classes, with similiar stats and gear, have much better burst (e.g. Adele), and deal more damage over the course of a boss. If comparing a top-tier Adele player and a top-tier Wind Archer player, the Adele player will kill a boss in a shorter period of time.
Of course, this is where Wind Archer shines, because of their innate bossing kit, it is easier for new players survive fighting a boss. But they need to compensate for lack of damage with better gear than other classes.
@@jewenlee8330 nightwalker isnt that burst heavy, most skills are low enough cd to use frequently.
I would say Nightlord/Hoyoung maybe even Aran
for heavy burst

as a f/p that hurts... Use flame haze aslong as it's off CD into mist explosion, always have methor shawoer on cd , always have flame aura active Use DoT Punisher when you have 5 stacks of harvest into element Fury..

Looking at Ho Young boss makes me want to try them out again so badly. But then I remember how often Maple crashes and how much my computer wheezes with Adele and Kanna (I keep that skill opacity and animation quality low as possible ofc ;-;) Is it worth the cost of crashing mid bossing? Perhaps so, though...

For fresh lvl 200 aran should be in this list, constant dmg, high burst, and good mobility while bossing. And an iFrame wich is charged every minute
U missed the chance to name your Dual Blade “DBCopper”
Fun fact: actually highest level character on gms is a bishop and he can melt down Hlucid p3 in like 15 seconds xd

Except what would you use to advertise that? I stick to sun mode all the time so I am not a dual mode user and cannot say what makes this job bossing king
Shade is the best for me.
Decent mobbing and bossing but have burst. Easy to play and less buff to manage.
I recommend Phantom for bossing because I want other people to suffer with me :( the I-frames are solid though, even though I suck with them.
How do Hoyoung players see the bosses? That screen was filled with wacky seizure inducing attacks and numbers everywhere lol

Blaster? Zero?
Hero’s deal cycle is 4 minutes which doesn’t quite fit with most of classes. Might be problematic on later bosses. Other teammates won’t wait just for you.

No they shouldn't. They have low survivability and their damage when fighting an actual boss is decent but not amazing.

Great damage and mobility +bind but only one quite unreliable .
Aran seems pretty solid for beginners at least, I have no idea if he is good later in the game

Fire poison mage need more buffs and tankyness. Need to reduce the cooldown time for dot punisher and increase the duration for enraged ifrit.

As a DB main, dual blades are less flashy than Demon Slayers but they're really reliable even without funding. With funding, however, they rekt shit up really fast at bosses
Hero main here. Extremely boring when it comes to mobbing. But fun for bossing. Easily down lomien at 232. Definitely need erda bind if you’re doing solo.

Arans are pretty good at bossing, which is a bit biased because I'm an Aran main. Maxing out their boost nodes, especially hunter's prey, you can one-shot many bosses, mainly up to nlomien level depending how funded you are.
hunter's prey is disgusting because it's also an that lasts as long as you want it to

Night Walker does more consistent damage over the whole fight but Night Lord has a stronger burst.

As a Mercedes main i disagree with some of these rankings
Just a little nitpick, NW actually does more burst than NL the only issue during boss is the cooldowns of their full burst don't match up, so you can't line up all your skills cd after the 1st initial burst.

no way. NL has the highest burst damage in this game. I main NW. I can say before the 4th V skill, NW has a better damage in 30seconds, but NL would perform better in 1min. But now, NL has higher burst damage in all aspects. NW wins in mobility, survival skills and constant damage.
@@haosheachung2859 Especially now after the changes from the recent patch NL definitely has the highest burst in the game.
@@StanleyMilgramm That's right. Hoever, NW gets buff too, it focus on improving the lowest damage in boss combat. The NWs who cannot jump attack very well get s a huge buff, while NL gets buff in both constant damage and burst damage. The burst damage gap between this two becomes larger. NW's advantage in constant damage has also weakened. That's a really bad news to me.

I main a dual blade it sure is good to boss with 2 s , Asura and darksight.
i 2nd main a kaiser , it may not be a strong class but it still very fun especially draco inferno, devastate and nova guardians.

Probably because of the insane paywall the class has. Unless you’re reboot, you’re going to be spending an insane amount of time and/or money just to get %all stat
As said before Xenon doesnt deserve a spot in this list since he requires insane amounts of funding.

I think in the current state of the game, all classes are great at bossing in their own ways. (Except demon avenger might have a little bit of struggle....)
