Darren Holmes, if you turn off boost mode in the " prevent input delay" by put it into Standard, you can change Oled Motion Pro or TruMotion though the game optimizer menu while being on Pc mode (on the inputs), now you can turn VRR and ALLM and have TruMotion while in Pc mode... do you think that's the way to go?

Does this work if the input is set as PC? (As seen on Vincent´s video titled: LG C1 Best Settings for PS5 Gaming - SDR, HDR, HGiG & Game Optimiser Settings)
To make it clear guys, if you followed his previous video for the best settings on PS5 just don't change anything, this video is only for those who wants to use more picture features (OLED motion etc.), which aren't that great imo since it messes up with the image clarity (the screen is dimmer)
some games at 30fps need it - Try horizon forbidden west in 4k - it looks glorious - but the frame stutter makes this mode unplayable - so you switch to the prefer frame rate setting - and the glorious graphics turn to a blurry mess.

Hi there I've been watching many of your videos recently. I have a new LG 43" 4K Active HDR TV for gaming hooked up by HDMI to my PC, and I just use the Optimized Gaming Mode enabled in the TV settings. HDR seems to be broken on Windows or maybe its my old crappy HDMI cable (1.4) I'm using right now. I think its the HDMI cable since sometimes I get blackscreens from time to time while watching youtube or video content, everything else works just fine in games while using Optimized Gaming Mode. I'm waiting for a new HDMI 2.1 (6.6ft 8k 60HZ HDCP 2.3) cable to arrive, hope this works out this time. If you interested the TV model is the LG 43UP7750PSB and this model seems only available for South American market (Ecuador-Argentina). Great content!!!.
@@kiisseli1337 reading all the comments I see alot of people say to turn off PC mode but Vincent said PC mode is good for gaming because of 444...now I'm confused.

Fun fact for xbox series s users, compared to the series x and ps5 it lacks sharpness and a little bit of color dibt fortunately if you have an lg tv you can make it look like the series x and ps5 on the picture settings by increasing sharpness to the max and putting super reslotion to high and increasing a little bit of color dibt by 10 numbers. 😊😊
Excellent video as usual Vincent! Are the benefits of turning off ALLM available if you have the input configured as PC? Can you do an updated one for PS5 settings where you switch the input from PC to Game Console? I remember seeing that the PC mode is better for certain things, like watching 4K blu ray movies on the console, and some people here have issues even after disabling ALLM. With all the PS5 and LG C1, C2 firmware updates, maybe a yearly video would be a good idea. Thanks!
I’m a bit confused. So the whole point off turning off boost and the low lag mode, is to get better motion and better blacks? Won’t it make input laggy??? I keep watching these videos and worrying about my settings on new LG C1. Even tho, it looks great to me, as it is. I thinks it’s the thought that what if my settings are actually bad. What if I understood all these settings and am able to improve my picture and motion.
@Joshua glad I’m not the only little girl. Worrying over nothing. My LG c1 honestly looked incredible, out of the box. I didn’t really change any settings. My main problem on old tv was skin tone was always off but I don’t even have that problem, with LG C1. My first Oled and I really love it. I’m addicted to watching those 4K and 8k wildlife on TH-cam and those stunning bright vivid, demo videos. I know I don’t have 8k but I still watch them as still in 4K and I don’t even care for 8K. I could honestly buy 5 or so LgC1 and use this tv for ever. When 1 breaks, I have another. I honestly don’t think I’d or most would see difference between 4K and 8k. Not only this, the price is out of this world. I’ve saved so many lgc1 settings vids, best picture quality for Ps5 etc and im just makes me feel anxious. Mainly because the TH-camr is saying have this settings on high and loads in comments are saying he’s wrong and can harm Tv etc. 1 guy says I can use vivid pic mode, but others say even LG recommend to not use this mode due to high risk of screen burn. So im ignoring all these TH-camrs and I will only mess with settings if im suddenly unhappy with picture. Im going to actually ring LG and put a bunch of questions to them about risk of screen burn, can I use vivid mode on wildlife etc. Because im probably worrying over nothing and I guess Mr LG will have all the answers. (I hope) I had so many problems with my last tv (Samsung Q7OT) and I hope if you do buy an LG Oled or any Oled, you won’t have such problems. 👍

My friend thank you a lot. I was frustrated with the stuttering. I thought my tv was problematic. I was looking the whole time and you helped me. God bless you.
I don't understand how this could ever be seen as LG's problem to fix. This is purely a Sony issue (along with all their other HDMI 2.1 and VRR issues) so it's only right they should fix it.
Does this mean that for games that utilize VRR, we won't have the best settings available? We would have to compromise in picture quality if we use VRR?
I don't understand anything, if i change anything like we see before on tv and PS , games looks brown and dark, I'm keeping my settings as normal because of brightness and deeper color, but I don't know what settings going to be Best

@@chicothereaperarriola1475 120hz
Plz support C1 in your future videos Vincent 💪😎👍
No it's old
@@literallynobody1515 K
@@NexGenTek yeah cause any TV past one year is "old" 🤣
@@SSNebula it is
@@NexGenTek yeah in terms of age of course but then again if we go by that, the C2 is already starting to be ancient as well! C1 old 🤣 C9 maybe but C1 is literally a year or so old not exactly outdated and still a top tier OLED but hey, what ever helps you sleep at night I guess 😴
I changed my hdmi input from pc to gaming and it worked
I don’t understand this, I have an LG C1 and followers Vince’s previous settings video…. But what he is saying on this one I don’t fully understand….. will a new settings video be coming out???
Could it be that LG CX also has this problem and will it have this same solution?

Yes cx/c1/g1 share firmware so maybe. Put it out of pc mode first if you run that.
I didn't undestad if we must keep PS5 set to "PC" in HDMI settings on TV (to have full chroma 4:4:4).
In that case i think for the option you are talking about, nothing changes because they are always grayed (sorry for my English)
Do we have to worry about this for those of us with a CX? Should we want this feature if we have a CX?
This same thing works with CX, and CX has better BFI than C1 and C2.
@@kiisseli1337 reading all the comments I see alot of people say to turn off PC mode but Vincent said PC mode is good for gaming because of 444...now I'm confused.
Can’t change any settings in picture.
Everything is greyed out, and I mean everything.
Even aspect ratio.
Would you recommend changing settings for gaming? I normally use the game optimized settings and just find the best for that certain game like fps, std, rpg etc. To me it looks fine but it if you recommend me changing them I’d be more than glad to, to get the best picture
I actually didn't change anything and it looks GREAT! Unlike an old Samsung LED which i had to turn off many settings for it to look good.
Does this work if the input is set as PC? (As seen on Vincent´s recommended video titled: LG C1 Best Settings for PS5 Gaming - SDR, HDR, HGiG & Game Optimiser Settings)
this is my concern as well
Please make a new video for new ps5 settings on c1 im still confused 😖
Thanks for the vid. Do you think sony will ever uncap the hdmi as i noticed the colors are really washed out as i'm unable to pick full rgb?
Love the videos man! How about a QN900A best PS5 settings??
Can you do a new update lg c1 oled and ps5 Vincent? Or is there nothing changed!
Vincent or any other in the know, could someone explain what are the model differences between LG C2 models C22LA, C22LB, C24LA, C24LB and so on?
My friend thank you a lot. I was frustrated with the stuttering. I thought my tv was problematic. I was looking the whole time and you helped me. God bless you.
I don't understand how this could ever be seen as LG's problem to fix. This is purely a Sony issue (along with all their other HDMI 2.1 and VRR issues) so it's only right they should fix it.
because it is the presenting device that offers viewing modes, not the source device.
You are pretty impressive with your knowledge with Electronics thank you for your videos very knowledgeable
Does this mean that for games that utilize VRR, we won't have the best settings available? We would have to compromise in picture quality if we use VRR?
I’m hearing that the C2/G2 have an issue with raised blacks in SDR content. Have you run into this issue?
This had also stopped me from being able to use Boost Mode instead of Standard in the Game Optimizer. I’m happy to report that is also fixed
I don't understand anything, if i change anything like we see before on tv and PS , games looks brown and dark, I'm keeping my settings as normal because of brightness and deeper color, but I don't know what settings going to be Best
Great setup videos. I have an issue you might be able to solve. Racing games like Gran Turismo, I can see either blur or halo of the wings and the names above peoples cars jitter when trees are behind or with fences behind. It’s super distracting at times when following and chasing others. I’d love some help with this! LGC1 48”
I just have to keep off pc input edit to use motion pro m8 same on Xbox only use this for 30 frame content and that is few and far between these days man hey have to you ever noticed a black faint line on your C1 just hope mine is not damage it's very faint but read that this can happen on these oleds?
What does a peasant like me with a LG CX do? What are best settings for users with CXs here in 2022?
It did not work here. Even after disabling VRR and ALLM, the TrueMotion feature is still not available to be turned on.
Me to? Whats causing this?
Same@@ChronosChris
Sony actually listen 👂 to their customers. Maybe they can fix the dimming in Game mode on their OLED’s. Would be nice 👍
I haven't had that issue with my CX.
@@jmen8888 That’s because LG knows how Logo Luminance is supposed to work. Sony just dims the whole screen in Game Mode and it’s extremely distracting.
Have they stopped using the old panels in the C2 yet?
Why my LG OLED C2 flicker in HDR content like gaming GTA V not all time but when you driving like fast sky flicker and especially when you drive jet ski on the ocean. Yesterday I also noticed flicker when I watched creed 3 on Amazon prime HDR on. Somebody pls tell me is there some way to fix it or is my tv broken
I have a problem with my LG C2 / PS5.
I’ve bought this combination quite recently. Managed to find some (old) guides on how to tweek my graphics. Did this and started playing.
After 2 weeks, now when my PS5 loads MW2 (my LG C2 will black screen and load HDR icon in the top right) after that, everything looks off.. grainy, textures, blurry.. even accessing main PS5 menu from the game. My profile picture looks blurry and the menu items too.. After I close the game (the screen will flick black again and show HDR icon in the top right) everything looks ‘fine’ and crisp again.. what the h is happening? I’ve haven’t had this happen before, everything was working fine, and no settings were changed in between..
- Changing settings ingame doesn’t seem to change anything..
- Changing settings on PS5 doesn’t seem to change anything..
- Already reset LG C2 to factory. Nothing changed.
I have an LG c1 with series x/ps5 and the exact same thing happening. Mw2 shadows and textures are all blurry and grainy. Shadows on guns look pixelated. Have to put sharpness maxed at 50 to make games looks half decently clear and as good as my 9 year old 1080p tv......
@@stevenjam7119 yeah funny thing is.. it wasn’t like this before. But I’m totally clueless on what to do
Thank you so much, Been frustrated with that update because of this!!!
Hey hdtvtest, I got a question for you, I got a Xbox series X and want a TV that supports 4k 120 Hz oled in VRR will the Philips oled 706 work ?
Hello, Sir Stupid Question no body on the internet has an full no Cut Sony A95K Montage Guide... how to get it out of the box how to setup the stand how to lift it and the list goes on and on srsly no one has an guide for it...
I wish sony would update the x900h. Its disappointing that we finally get allm but still have degraded picture quality on x900h. Still unable to enable local dimming and dynamic contrast.
Whats your thoughts vincent on samsung lowering the nits on there oled by 1000nits ? not heard you say anything on this yet ?
I did his post setup from the other video. Does that mean I have tu turn this new feature off now?
Will Sony Bravia TVs still auto switch to game mode with ALLM off like they did before?
They only do it on the initial setup if you want
nice haircut Vincent
Thanks
Do you have a problem with your LG tv powering off while playing video games on your PS5?
Hi. Is it possible to get 1:1 pixel ratio on lg c1? 1080p in the middle of screen.
77 inch c2 for 2,999 or 77 inch c1 for 2,596? I play ps5. I’m having a hard time choose because there’s things the c2 doesn’t offer the c1 does.
You saved me!!! Thanks a lot. New sub.
I had a fix for this on my modded PS5 a while go 😮💨.
Oh what??? Modded ps5! Can I be your friend? 🤡
Can you do a video on HLG vs SDR on LG C1 & C2?
Cx got that firmware to improve too.
Turning boost mode off allows me to use bfi, I have input set to pc mode and all other settings greyed out, I will change input from pc to console to see if this opens up the settings...
I don't have a PS5 but I still wonder if I will have that problem on my LG CX?
Stay on 4.03 people, do not update!
My Ps5 is still sealed in the box waiting for Andy Nguyen aka The_Flow's BD_jailbreak.
My LG CX is very anxious to get acquainted to the Ps5 but it'll have to wait.
Cool channel btw, I know alot more about my CX OLED coz of this dude, keep em coming.
Maybe I’ll consider upgrading my CX to the G2 now there is a fix haven’t had issues with my PS5 Woot!
Thanks for the update.
i have a SONY KD-55XH9005 LED TV and with allm in gaming mode my tv get dimmed a lot and everything is a bit in brown. i have vrr too, but i won't use it, because of allm. i hope one day a update will fix that.
Gracias por tu explicación! Justamente era lo que deseaba, que el fideo vaya fluido y suave, y no como entcortado que me parece horrible! Me salvaste la vida
Lg c2 settings video plzzz or just the same as the c1 video?
Turning off ALLM and VRR for PS5 gaming is such a weird idea to me.
Why would you ever do that?
Although kudos to Sony for listening to customer, thanks to TH-camrs, probably.
because the screens are not yet 100% compatible with vrr oled (gamma problem) and lcd (local dimming disabled)
i really hate these graying out of settings. I use a c1 as my pc monitor, so most of the time i want all processing disable. but SOMETIMES i want to enable frame interpolation and some other stuff. it's practically impossible to do. I have to go through so many hurdles! Takes like 5 minutes to find everything i have to do to make that happen, and then again for disabling it. so i just don't do it. which is a shame. The menu should never gray out, instead it should just give a pop up saying "picture mode will change X Y Z settings in order to enable this, proceed?" and fuckn do it. when i disable, revert back to what it was before.
How do we remove the black foggy background on ps5 hdr games
hi HDTVTest my LG C1 settings menu is different than you have (maybe its because of the update ), something is changed. is there a Video with Lg c1 ( update 03.33.11) and ps5 settings.
Whats the lg c1 equivalent for other brands such as tcl hisense sony samsun
