Mahalo....brings back wonderful memories. I got to swim in the pond by the waterfall before bucket lists were a thing. Looking forward to being able to travel safely again.
Beautiful Mahalo for posting! You must hate to go back to California after this! I am from NYC and have been to several of the islands many times. On our honeymoon we stayed at the Grand Wailea on Maui and several other hotels as we moved around the island. When it was time to go home I blanked out. I forgot where we lived I honestly thought we loved on Maui and when my hubby said its time to go home I said home what do you mean? It affected my brain chemistry. I didn't have that experience on Oahu but I loved it! It was easier to get around because it has street lights! At the time Maui did not ad I was scared of the dark after never having been in the dark because I live in NYC. Hawaii has an affect on people! Enjoy your stay!
This video was a great cure for these vaccine side effects I’m dealing with. Those plants are the most beautiful shade of green there is truly nothing like that in the lower 48.
What a stunning park, it must be one of the best walking trails in the world..looks like real paradise. Just one thing though, I don't understand why some of the people is almost naked..it's not like they're sitting in a swimming pool.
Just wondering is the waterfall the only attraction with a time limit (9am-4pm) but the rest of the trail (garden, little shops?, etc..) is accessible regardless of what time it is?
Like anything else in nature, pool water level depends on waterfall flow. If level is too low, lifeguards could prohibit water activity. Before lifeguards, there were instances of public jumping off cliff, into pool. This was before public could jump from cliff on L side of waterfall, approx. 45ft up.....

26:50 falls
Wondering why nobody is swimming, is the water cold?

When Kate and Sawyer find a case underwater 😮😮😮
How long was the walk?
Depending on age/fitness level, about 20-30mins. is norm. Golf cart is provided for those w/mobility difficulties
