Katie, need to stop at road cuts. Never know what you may find.
One place in Arizona, in a road cut, was not expecting, beautiful Aragonite crystals.
Arkansas road cuts, found beautiful fossils embedded. Many places to check out. Have fun.

I was recently out there and I was surprised of the crystals that I got from out of that area. As you said they are very delicate when they come out. It was well worth the trip going out there.

Great video, we really enjoyed it, except for the flashes to black and white and back to color, we found those annoying.

Gyp crystals are about everywhere and not nearly as far away.
