That way would work for 16 gauge wire but not starting round wire with 3x3mm square wire in the first round hole. I would say not even 20 garage wire. I have a similar set up that cost me 80 dollars. It will work until I upgrade to a better tool. I have a belt trailer wrench vs cable. It works great for now. I’ll eventually record making wire.
No, they’re two different types of wood products, engineered hardwood has a higher dimensional rating compared to plywood, but plywood offers a higher strength due to the cross-grain orientation, if you need more information, just Google Engineered Hardwood Vs. Plywood, and that will give you more information!
Mostly for shaping wire into different shapes, and lengths of wire. The tungston carbide drawplate has many different wire/tube making diameters, you would usually start with smallest size that you need to start with, and then gradually work your way up to the intended size wire/tube desired. You left out the clamping device that holds the wire your trying to stretch on the machine you made sounds like an important detail were will one find such a part or how did you make it Thank you in advance
