They are off-brand synthetic brushes from a local shop here with art supplies. Very good, and inexpensive, brushes for detailed work are the brushes of the brand 'Talens': Van Gogh series 295 Selected Filament number 2. If they are not available, you should seek advice from the local art supplies shop. I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks, the fine brushes usually only last for two paintings, then they need to be replaced.
