Dude i have GPU: RTX 4080 CPU: intel i9 14th gen RAM: 32GB DDR6 The nvidia control panel settings and adding cod to the graphics settings and setting it to high performance just literally changed my life. THANK YOU!!!!! I was stuttering every 2 seconds, forcing me to play on lowest settings but still would stutter every 10 seconds. This completely fixed the constant fps spike drops. They seriously need to fix their games servers, and performance. But you sir seriously helped out! The game plays just like it did at launch, smooth as butter, and I can finally play the game again. Thank you!
If you are crashing due to DirectX issues, it is most likely due to the game's VRAM leakage issue. The best way to combat this is to set the VRAM Scale Target to 65-70% and to set the Display Mode to Fullscreen Borderless. I know it sounds redundant to do this, but the game has severe issues when configuring the VRAM target higher than 70%. Good luck gamers.
You saved my life , thank you very much ❤️❤️ Edit: just do everthing what he did in this video and you will see that you will Not going to have lag, frezeing gameplay, lag Spikes anymore
Unless you are running COD on an absolute potato PC, please do not select "High" priority in task manager, as doing so may be detrimental- causing odd effects/stuttering. When an application is set to high priority, it may cause moderate to severe input lag and potentially interfere with crucial system processes (making the computer more likely to crash.) The 5-10 FPS gain is not worth system crashing and really is not necessary unless, as I mentioned before, you are gaming on a toaster.
@@katereee2280 nah not really man. if your playing on pc, open your task manger and run cod then select wifi in performance of task manager and check if it randomly drops out. (Packet burst) if so that’s your problem. My game wasn’t even displaying packet burst but my net was actually the problem. Try move closer to router or connect Ethernet. That worked for me.

@@nyxikosno it didn’t, I still get latency variation and packet loss notifications whilst my latency is 23ms and my packet loss % is 0
You are a lifesavers man!
