Playmaker should have unique dialogues of Photon Thrasher, Marauding Captain, Exarion Universe, Gaia Saber the Lightning Shadow, Forbidden Lance, Limiter Removal, Tremendous Fire, Thunder Crash and Torrential Reborn (the cards he used before he obtained his Cyberse deck)
Probably these will be included when Playmaker is released as a separate character as well as Ai with his @Ignister deck

Fun fact: with the addition of links, we now have ALMOST all lore accurate summoning chants. By "lore accurate" I mean those summon methods that are more an anime/manga thing than a ruling thing (e.g.: Accel synchro, double tuning, contact fusión, revival link, etc.). These are either accesible (accel synchro, armored XYZ, etc.) or in the code, present in dialogues (Over limit accel synchro, rank-up XYZ, etc.). Excluding characters that will be added in the future, the only summoning method that the game doesn't have is the "phantom synchro" Crow used once (against Yuya). The blackwing needed for it is in the game and it doesn't seem that we will have an Arc-V Crow, so this one migth actually be the only lore accurate summon that won't make it to the game

His dub voice is really good and ai's is funny but in a good way, I really hope firewall dragon gets a summon animation tho I still consider it his true ace, also love the sphere kuriboh reference line from the anime
His dub voice here feels a bit wooden that it feels uncanny. I suppose it kind of makes sense because of his past, but still...
I know Decode Talker have a summoning animation, but since since Yusei has a summoning animation for both Junk Warrior and Stardust Dragon, there's a possibility in the future that there will be a summoning animation for Firewall Dragon as well.

Well most of the season 2 characters probably aren’t going to be added for a while since they don’t have real decks and I believe they have waited to add voice lines for characters that aren’t getting added for a while like I don’t think interaction lines for Rio were in the code on launch but are now

I have watched some of the Yugioh Vrains episodes but I’ve never seen Playmaker use sphere kuriboh.
Back in Season 1. My guess is that he keeps it in his dummy LIGHT deck. He actually owns 3 copies.
Hey can you upload the taunt dialogue in duels? id love to have those complied, theres some good lines there.
His main deck lines feel really weird given how few of them there are. I get that he had a ton of cards, and they probably wanted to prioritize links, but it's still really odd that the cards that support Code Talkers from the hand don't have lines.
There's a ton of non archetypal cyberse monsters that he used in duel links and he doesn't have lines for most of them. Kinda sad.
Well he never used the small code talkers and they’re not really summoned to the field. Granted you don’t really summon sphere kuriboh so shrug
@@rueblie2627 Micro Coder was a pretty egregious omission. Sure he only used it once, but it directly supports both his Code Talker and Cynet archetypes. The fact that he didn't get a line for that, but gots lines for random link monsters he also only played once was what felt weird about it.
In general it just seems off with the ratio of main deck to extra deck monsters he has lines for.

Yeah, it's like this ever since sometime between Zexal and Arc-V, I miss the old days where characters would have lines for not only most of their cards but also random cards that thematically fit them or their deck (remember Arkana/Pandora having voice line for D/D Pandora?), now we're lucky if a character has lines for their own cards.......
@@starshinephoenix8141 I think it's really just the main characters or anime exclusive cards that get lines axed. For example, Sylvio got lines for both of his archetypes, plus the Monarch cards he used, as well as the cards he offered Yuya and his pendulums magicians.
But yeah sometimes they leave stuff out, although I get it in the case of Yuya and Yusaku. Those dudes have an obscene amount of cards so i understand them not recording all of them, even if some of the ones that didn't get lines are questionable.
What i won't excuse is how they don't really do lines for anime cards. (Aside from the Meklord users because most of their decks are Tag Force cards) Antinomy should have had a line for Double Type Rescue, and Jim absolutely should have had lines for Sacred Defense Barrier since that's already in the game. It was also a bad idea to not record lines for his other anime cards because there's a good chance that some of them can be printed now.

To be fair, at least he sounds different from his role as a Barian. Jake Paque also voiced Dumon in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal.

@@aroperdope Yep. Main reason for that? Outside of leasing Nash's royal guard and the backstory with his pegasus, Mach.... he's a REALLY bland character. Writers should have done more with Dumon.

Hmm, that’s too bad. It doesn’t seem that Playmaker has any special lines when he’s fighting other previous protagonists. I wanted to hear him say “Judai-San” or “Yusei-San”. But then again, only the first 3 protagonists have met each other in canon.

I find it dumb that Soulburner is the first character from Vrains you unlock.
The VRAINS Duel Links storyline was most likely meant to pick up where the ending of VRAINS left off: Playmaker left for parts unknown while Ai was revived. Soulburner came to Duel Links to look for him.

I feel like for the dub version, they tried to make Playmaker sound like Atem (in a way). Not saying they did that out of that intention, but the dub vpice doesn't really suit Playmaker well. Would've been better if either:
- They let A.I. do the talking (which would've been a hilarious way to go because A.I. is a gem in the dub).
- Use Yusaku's normal voice.

Maybe it's just me, but Ai feels spot on in terms of the voice. They both speak with the same pitch and tone, and the only real difference is the language they're speaking in.
As for the childish jokes, I'm pretty sure Ai was like that in the original too. He's probably one of the most faithful dubbed characters.

@@HaouRex Maybe it's just because I never liked Vrains or Ai (before the final season) all that much, but I don't think that the quality of his jokes was that drastic. In both dub and sub he's mostly comic relief, so you either like him or you don't. I don't think the dub changed him all that much.
Vrains is so boring season, for me 5ds zexal and arc v are best seasons, I watch all seasons in sub, because dub for is cringe anytime (or because my english is not so good)
