I bought a new battery at 4.25Y old for my phone but the dang battery life is so good I have waited almost 9 months to put in the new one at 5Y old! Nice job, OnePlus!
How to judge whether you have stable battery or its draining ? Mine is 3 year old device and it's working good , but I think it has battery drain issue

Suction cup method is difficult without the correct kind. I personally used a combination of a razor blade and cell phone pry tools to get mine off after hearing with heat gun
@@kaman3 I got the point of a surgical knife under the edge near the usb port, watch video to see line to aim at, then used phone pry tool to lever up and keep heating and working round until it frees off

Yes. You should be using an even slower charger than a standard 2.1A whenever possible, i.e. overnight which is 90% of charging for most people

It's nice that they've made the battery replacement super easy for this phone. But when it's this easy... why not just include a removable back?
Water resistance. The 6t isnt certified but the glue layer helps

AccuBattery app. You may need to run it for a few charge/discharge cycles before it gives a good estimate.

It lasted 6 years for me, heavy daily use. Now replacing cuz it reboots intermittently under 70%. Guess it's finally time.
Mine started bloating after 3 years. Have a 5T too same thing battery replaced after 3 years. Now switched using to mi14ultra. 😋

Yes, and use a suction cup the pull the battery cover.
