    I have never been a Ramos fan, one bit, but the more I learn about his work ethic, the more I respect it. And now that Messi and Ramos are on the same team, it is less likely he’ll be tackling Messi as nastily as he used to.

      Don't let a 5 minute video change your view. Ramos is a nasty piece of shit. I've disliked him ever since he elbowed the Liverpool goalkeeper in the face in the final of the Uefa Champions League. So he exercises. Big deal, which professional player doesn't.

      Doesn't help when his fitness coach doesn't coach him properly on his exercises! He takes up such poor postural positions in his inverted rows, pull-ups and I'm sure everything else he's doing. I see this all the time as a strength coach. Poor movement quality in the gym is what gets most athletes injured. He can train all day long, eat a perfect diet, recover optimally with sleep and hyperbaric chambers, but if your muscle function and movement quality is flawed, it will always bite you in the ass come game time. Hope he recovers soon though. Phenomenal defender and can't question his dedication and work ethic

      @@russtemuka9849 You're not right bro he is not a bodybuilder weightlifter or something like that, he is footballer and first of all he doesnt have to do perfect form pullups (and he is doing them well with added weight by the way). Elite athletes like him make a lot of money and do you think they will risk their carrers (and jobs) and they will not (together with a club coaches and personal ones) take care of their bodies? Also, injury that Ramos have right now is calf injury that is probably from football training.

    • @russtemuka9849
      @russtemuka9849 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mihajlo7219 everyone no matter if you're a world class athlete or a normal person should ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take up perfect posture and technique when performing strength training movements. If your posture and muscle function is poor, you will always take up these same positions when you sprint, cut, dribble, etc. That's just how the human body operates. And yes even upper body dysfunction can contribute to calf/lower body problems. The human body is incredibly complex, and especially when you're under resistance and load, it is vital to maintain perfect posture and technique with every exercise. If you're not, then your body becomes what you're training it to become. It's that simple.

      @@ZelenikTchingy I agree with Thommy. As you age you need more rest and less exercise as healing is more important than training. I am not a professional athlete but I can tell from my amateur background that when I was 30 I used to train heavy all day and in I used to get tired in the games and feel exhausted. At 36, I am training less, eating well, keeping the diet as clean as possible, having 45 mins of training 4 times a week with regular walk and longer rests. That helps in optimal performance in the games. I feel as good as when I was 26.

      Totally agree, a soccer player doesn't need to train every day to play well on the weekend. There are famous Argentinian and Brazilian players that never trained well, but in official games, they were the best by far.

      no, it's about a winning mentality. If Ramos will give you 1 million euros, you'll spend that on cars and houses.
